This was the best accommodation so far in Ireland.

Our host Susanne was amazing - so informative, friendly and caring. She was always responsive and made sure we were well set up and comfortable. She provided many nice touches for guests! Bay View House was a cosy, well equipped cottage with a lovely garden view out over Liscannor Bay. Location was fantastic. Very short walk to the pubs and restaurants.

Lovely property with very welcoming owner. Very comfortable beds and super layout for sharing with another couple (upstairs/downstairs rooms with adjacent bathrooms). Super location - with fabulous outlook over a tidal estuary. Great pubs v close by.

Relaxing

Location was perfect, the house was big, spacious it was beautiful. The host had cookies, milk and other items in for us. Everything you wanted was in the house. It had a lovely private garden looking out to the sea. Suzanne was so nice, she met us when we got to the house and showed us around she was great.

Serene and comfortable idyll, in a cozy seaside house with great views.

The rooms were so relaxing. Calm colours, very comfy beds and pillows, and great to have the wood-burning stove too. The rear aspect onto the garden and sea was marvellous to overlook from the upstairs sitting room. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate in a couple of times but the location is also perfect for dining out; and for the Cliffs of Moher.

Ireland charm

The location of this charming home was a short drive to many attractions including the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin. Susanne made us feel like family visiting her home. Accommodations were exceedingly comfortable and very responsive to any of our needs. I would come back again and encourage anyone looking for accommodations in County Clare to book the Bay View House. The back gardens were beautiful also.

Lovely cottage on the bay

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was tidy and comfortable. There were live herbs growing inside and out. The bedding was fine and comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we could have wanted, and our hostess was warm and welcoming. The location was perfect, only a few minutes’ walk to the local pub, restaurant, and coffee shop; also, only a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin Pier, from which we took the ferry to Inishmore. Best of all, the view of the bay from the backyard of the cottage was gorgeous and invigorating. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Seaside Cottage frozen in time!! Perfect!

Bayview House was my favourite accommodation in our 3 weeks holiday in the UK. I stayed there with my husband and adult daughter for 3 nights. It is the most beautiful cottage full of old world charm. A real Seaside cottage from the past maintained frozen in time. We were met by our Host Susanne who showed us around the home. She was extremely helpful. We arrived on a sunny day and she advised us to visit the Cliffs Of Moher that day before the weather turned. This was great advice as the rain and winds hit the next morning. The Cottage sits on the edge of Lahinch Bay with views across to Lahinch. Susannes' garden is gorgeous and well maintained. Adjacent to the house are the ruins of an old fisherman's hut. From the upstairs living area you can look across the water to some rocks where we saw Puffins with the binoculars supplied. It was a real treat. The views out of every window were gorgeous. It's a short walk in to town where we had dinner at the local pub which was delicious. The Cliffs Of Moher is a short drive. Of course they are spectacular!!

The location is perfect- just outside town (quiet) but easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Beautiful harbor view with a quiet private garden. Susanne is delightful and so helpful.

Beautiful very comfortable home! Great location within walking distance to restaurants and pub. The owner Susanne is a really nice person! She greeted us when we arrived and showed us a few helpful tips about the house. She was also kind enough to have milk and cookies for us.

Exceptional Accommodation

A lovely place to linger. Our host Susanne was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She personally delivered the key and explained things in the house. She even had the wood-burning stove ready for a fire. The house was very clean and appointed with personal touches. Views of the sea were wonderful. We used the provided binoculars to watch a seal sunning on the rocks in the bay. I would have no hesitation booking with Susanne again.

Hidden Gem near Cliffs of Mother

House was lovely ..magnificent views and garden.Beds were super comfy decor top quality and Suzanne our host couldn't have been nicer .It was the perfect place to stay for my daughters wedding in Doolin.Location was few minutes walk from bars and restaurants and 15 min drive from Doolin .Would love to return

Really gorgeous place to stay, not far at all from the Cliffs of Moher.

This place is very lovely, with a great backyard garden opening up to views of the water just beyond the backyard. We had a lovely stay and greatly appreciated all of the appliances, especially the washer AND dryer. Our host was super sweet and directed us to a quick drive + walk to see the sunset from the other side of the Cliffs of Moher. The downstairs bathroom also was fantastic, and good sized. Loved the upstairs sitting area overlooking the water. The downstairs chairs that rocked were also amazing. Also, I absolutely loved the binoculars she left upstairs! Thanks for that!

I had trouble with the shower upstairs the first night. Spent a while trying to figure it out to no avail. Water would be ice cold for a good bit, but would then warm to a point of scalding. Could not get a constant temperature unless it was chilly. Next day decided to just use the downstairs one—others in our group had and they had no trouble—and that one worked just fine.

The place to stay for a family visiting the cliffs

great location for the cliffs of Mohr. in fact you could drive a short distance and hike in from farmland. Susanne can give you those directions. If the time is right you can see seals from the upstairs window or the backyard

Great two night family break

Really lovely & comfortable property. Lovely extra touches like local ground coffee, milk in fridge, thoughtful toiletries in bathroom, lots of towels, fire ready to light in the stove. 3 mins walk from Vaughans (very good food), McHughs (more casual but also good food). Highly recommend Dodi’s for breakfast / brunch in Lahinch and Bar Tra for dinner (need to book here in advance). Recommend taking a drive to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre & Doolin Village. Doolin Caves were recommended too but we didnt get to go there.

Stunning, charming home!

This was the best rental we’d ever stayed at. The location was absolutely stunning - Susanne welcomed us and immediately pointed out a seal just off in the distance. The view of the water was stunning and the house is so charming. Incredibly cozy beds and pillows. Convenient location for exploring Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way. We so wished we could have spent more time there!
