Charming old Boathouse

Location excellent, house layout was v charming. Christmas tree and decorations a lovely touch. Communication with the company was v good

Overall, the kitchen was not v clean, the appliances were barely functioning, the kickboard kept falling out of place. Nothing that a bit of care and attention couldn't rectify. A lot of lights not working, including the outside lights, again a little care and attention would go a long way. If these issues were addressed we would definitely visit again and would recommend to others. I hesitate to recommend at the moment because of the kitchen.

The stair could be an issue for some we had a very tall man with us and it was a struggle, possible issue with children but there is a lovely downstairs bedroom which we made use out of.

Beautiful sea view property

Very cosy and clean accomodation and fresh baked bread on arrival was a real treat!! Very easy to access the property and instructions on the use of the house were very straightforward. Plenty of towels. Kitchen was fully stocked. We had a lovely girls weekend.

Exceptional

The Boathouse is really well set up. There were a couple of small things that could be improved, but I have already told out host about them. The location was lovely right next to the little Liscannor harbour. It was within easy walking distance of good places to eat and not far from a beach. Would definitely recommend the Boathouse.

The most marvelous place on earth!

The Boathouse is my little slice of heaven - my literal favourite place on earth. It is beautifully renovated and updated, clean, comfortable and just fabulous.

Loved everything! The stairs could be treacherous for young children.

Great house in a terrific location.

The Boathouse itself was beautiful and the owners had ensured that it was warm and welcoming. There was even a beautiful Christmas tree lighting to welcome us. The decor is beautiful and everything is very high quality. .

Unfortunately , and probably no fault of the owners , there was an awful smell outside at certain times. Perhaps it was a feature of low tide, or a local sewage problem , but it was very strong and invaded the house if you opened the door or windows. It was such a pity because everything about the house itself was excellent.

the boathouse was a great place to unwind for a few days after several nights on the move. Great fish and chips close by

Lovely living, dining and kitchen area, very welcoming . Large bedrooms upstairs were comfortable.

Lack of hooks to hang coats. No bedside tables or lights in the upstairs bedrooms, sound of water draining constantly, the staircase was a little tight.

The location was great. The house was well designed, and the layout was unique. It was well equipped. Free parking, but the area was not clearly defined. Very nice view of the marina.Close the cliffs of Moher

Do not stay here unless you want inferior communication and poorly maintained facilities. For example, we put a load of wash in and found that the latch was defective and could not open the machine. As a result, we could not contact the owners until we called booking.

Boathouse Bolthole

It was cosy and warm. The stove fire added to the ambiance. It was well furnished with comfortable chairs and sofa's. The bedrooms were a good size with lots of space. For such a small building it was really well thought out and never felt closed in. Its proximity to restaurants and bars make it an ideal place to stay...everything within easy reach.

A little taste of heaven in North Clare

Beautiful house with fabulous little touches, beautifully decorated and so spacious.

Our only issue was a delay into getting into the house as getting access to the key was difficult, the keybox wasn't working and staff weren't available to come to help us for 90 minutes. Otherwise the house was fabulous.
