BEAUTIFUL HOUSE IN A PERFECT LOCATION
It was a comfortable cosy house in the most beaiutiful location it was spotless clean and had everything we needed. Its 3 minutes to the lovely galleon pub and 10 minutes walk to kilrush, not to mention the gorgeous walk to the peir and along the water.
We spent most our time upstairs in the kitchen so would of been handy to have a tv there. But it was a small negative.

Wonderful!
After a frenetic week in Dublin, Belfast, and Scotland, my sisters and I were ready to leave city life behind during the second week of our holiday and truly relax along the more rural, west coast of Ireland. We stumbled into The Lodge late at night, weary from a long day of flying and driving and were immediately impressed. This is a beautifully refinished, light-filled, spotlessly-clean, two-story home with stunning views of the Shannon Estuary and Scattery Island and within easy walking distance of Kilrush shops and Cappa Pier. The washer and dryer were a definite plus, along with the spacious eating area, comfortable beds with new linens, and well-furnished bathrooms. Michael (our host) could not have been more kind and was easy to reach for any questions or needs throughout our stay. Be sure to visit the Loop Head Lighthouse, walk the nearby Kilkee Cliffs (shh--don't tell anyone), and grab a couple of loaves at Considine's Bakery to appreciate just how good toast can be.We had the time of our lives--thank you, Michael!
We had a little trouble figuring out the TV (accessing Netflix, etc.) and the sound system in the evenings, so some additional instructions there might be helpful, but a minor detail compared to all the other plusses, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This was an outstanding property hosted by a friendly, helpful host. The house was spotlessly clean and had every amenity we needed. Great views, great parking, good location, quiet.
There was nothing we didn't like except we didn't stay long enough!
