Needs a good clean!

Host was contactable and provided us with clean bedding on request.

The property was not cleaned on arrival. Had to ask for clean sheets as the sheets on the beds weren’t changed from previous tenants as hairs and sand in the bed when duvet was pulled back. One bed had no sheets. The toilet wasn’t flushed from previous tenants. Shower and toilet area hadn’t been cleaned either with visible dirt and hairs everywhere, the whole house/apt in general needs a proper clean. Cobwebs everywhere. Floors in general weren’t clean and visible dirt as soon as you entered. Blinds in the bedroom, one closed just about and one didn’t so as soon as it was bright the whole room was bright!

The location was great. Great place as a base for exploring West Clare. David and Sinead were lovely hosts. The facilities were perfect for our weekend stay!!!!

Very warm welcome from the hosts, amazing location, including a wild and deserted beach just a 10 minute walk away. Everything set up really well, great bedroom and bathroom, and well kitted out kitchen which had everything I could possibly need, and more.

Excellent base for visiting coast of Clare if you want self Catering in a rural coastal setting

Very warm welcome. Spacious facility with kitchen, dining table, couch, TV and spacious room upstairs. The location was great if you are looking for a rural setting. It is also within a short walk of the beautiful beaches south of Quilty, Co Clare. We chose Teach Beag Cois Tra as we wanted to travel with our small dog and the hosts were very welcoming and relaxed about us staying with dog. The hosts have their own animals including two dogs, cats and hens which all added to the atmosphere. We were lucky to have wonderful weather when we visited.

We absolutely loved this place, we love animals, so we were delighted to meet Scooby, all the chickens and cats...Sinead and David were so welcoming and made sure everything was ok for us...Everything was perfect and we had beautiful views of the beach... Thank you both so much again ❤

The hosts (David, Sinead & family) were welcoming, helpful and responded to our needs. The accommodation was bright, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Great views from the apartment. A great place to take a pet as the family are pet lovers.

had to leave after two nights as could not stand the smell and bed sheets. we were booked for three

its location only an hour from the furthest place we travelled to. the hosts were very nice and welcoming on our arrival and during our stay. they gave recommendations of places to eat near the accommodation. it was Dog friendly.

there was a smell in the property that never left even with the windows open, it was so bad that we could not eat at the property even breakfast. we felt the property needed a full deep clean from the down stairs front door to the bed sheets on the beds floors and walls. outside the property could have been better kept weeds and chicken poo on patio area had to be careful where one walked.

We really enjoyed our stay, great location.

We travelled with our son and our dog. The apartment was perfect for us, a good size, comfortable and clean. Detached from main house.TV with lots of stations & We had a a sea view. The Location was excellent with some good local beaches within a mile and nice places to eat in local villages. Great base to travel round Clare and see the local sights and towns, many of which are big into their Trad music. Close to Cliffs of Moher & Spanish Point, within an hour of local caves and some nice seaside towns, we went on a little further (just over an hour) to see the Burren as I love it there. Our hosts were excellent, lovely friendly family who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and be sure we had everything we needed. They gave us some great recommendations of local places to see and where to eat out. Thanks to Sinead, David and Family for a great stay!

Animals making noise all night Host very arrogant Smell of animals outside door and no privacy Power went and no-one in house to fix it Host complaining about children on second day when she previously said it was ok for them to stay.

Great spot, dog friendly and great hosts

Brilliant, pet friendly, self contained lodge. Sea views from bedroom windows, within 10 mins walk from beach. Was a great spot for exploring West Clare. Hosts were very friendly, Sinead at hand with any questions we had. Would definitely go back again.

Great place to stay for visiting West Clare

Great location, Sinéad and David and their family couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to bring our dog too which was brilliant. Will definitely stay again if we are visiting the area.
