About this house rental
Nicely furnished house will become your favorite home away from home! Sunny views from every angle, nice sized yard, porch and balcony, and a short walk to the beach. Granite and stainless kitchen is part of the open concept living/dining area. One main floor bedroom, two bedrooms upstairs, and additional bedroom downstairs will accommodate 8 guests comfortably. Main floor bath with shower and a brand new spa-like bath on the second floor.
Outside, there is a private patio complete with stainless grill and seating. Additionally, there is a shower with foot wash to clean up after your trip to the beach.
Located between Easton's and Second Beaches, this home is a perfect place to relax and enjoy Newport, without the noise and lights if you don't want them. However, if you do, Downtown Newport is a mere 5 minutes away...enjoy fine dining and a party atmosphere, or take a leisurely evening stroll along the waterfront.

The only reason I am writing this "iffy" review is because upon departure from our stay I sent Kim a copy of the signed lease with a written review of the inconveniences of this stay and Kim has not even responded, nothing! I will say the house was very nice and had just about everything you needed. HOWEVER, I was notified upon checking that we could not use the washer because the former renter must have done something to it and it was not draining. OK, a bit last minute notice but I understand things happen. Because we had been traveling and had 8 people with us that needed to be ready for graduation we planned to use it but pivoted and then had to use our daughters rental house (she is a student at the College). The screen doors were broken upon arrival and therefore could not have the doors open, (OK fine) Dishwasher was full upon arrival (clean but full of dishes, again OK fine). We went to dinner on the first night and arrived back to house at 9:45 pm. The keypad lock was making a noise and hence the lock was malfunctioning. I called Kim who picked up right away and after a few calls back and fourth she advised me to go unlock the lock box on the side of house, we retrieved the keys in there and they were suppose to unlock the other door BUT no they didn't. After several tries and calls with Kim, it was determined that the Landlord had changed the locks and the new keys were not switched over.
