My family and I were in town for a wedding in Newport. This place was perfect! The host was super responsive and the location was ideal. It was in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to all the Newport attractions. The rooms were spacious for our group, with nice common areas and bathrooms. The pool table in the garage was a nice touch! I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay near Newport.

The house is a split level ranch and while it has some updates, it is also somewhat dated. The kitchen has undergone the most renovations but it is small and not well stocked. I brought supplies to make buffalo chicken dip and I was thankful that i had aluminum trays to stir since there were no bowls. The kitchen is stocked with silverware, glasses, dishes and VERY limited cookware. Almost all the cabinets are empty and even aluminum foil or new scrub sponges werenot provided. I had read reviews so I was somewhat anxious to stay here but we took a chance since hotels for Parents Weekend were similar pricing. I agree that the house needs better cleaning, since we found trash from previous renters in the garbage cans and the place was not wiped down well. With some simple changes, we could have had a very different experience. Hopefully this feedback helps improve things for future renters.
