Walk to beach, 4BR, 2 full BA home, fenced yrd, covered porch

It was a great house in a super location.

The home was perfect for our annual girl’s weekend. The home was clean and well equipped. We loved the location and its proximity to Newport, Providence, and Boston!

Ample space for friends and family, beautiful fenced in backyard with ocean views. Safe neighborhood where we ran and roller skated. Host was communicative and prompt. Would absolutely come back!

We were two hours away when I began trying to get checkin information. After calling the property manager three times and the owner once, I finally got a call back when we were less than 30 minutes away. I was given the code to get into the house only to find wet sheets in the washing machine, none of the beds made, dirty bathrooms, no trash bags in the can, and dirty counters and kitchen table. I immediately called the property manager again to express my dissatisfaction. She contacted the cleaning person and when she called me back, I was told she had thought we weren’t coming in until the next day (I guess she was okay leaving wet sheets in the washing machine an additional day?!?) and would be immediately coming over to do all the cleaning and make the beds. Luckily we were planning to be out for a couple of hours or it really would have added to all our inconvenience. We returned to a clean place and beds made. For as much money as I paid to rent this house for three nights, I was very disappointed in my “first impression” and it undoubtedly put a sour taste in my mouth for the remainder of our stay. House was sufficient for what we needed but if ever I return to the area, I won’t be staying again nor will I rent from anyone affiliated with the property management company who handled this particular property.
