A gem in a beautiful countryside setting

This Agriturismo is simply amazing! The building is stunning, well refurbed and kept. The room was spacious and all the facilities were spot on. The views, the peace and quiet of the landscape were great and made our stay even better. Giovanni is a very lovely and friendly guy, he welcomed us and looked after us in a very kind and genuine way. I would love to come back soon and stay longer.

Pleasant

We had a delightful stay at Agriturismo Il Salice and were warmly welcomed by Guiseppe and his family. Their hospitality was very good, and they even helped us with our luggage upon arrival. Throughout our stay, communication with the hosts was seamless, both through Booking and WhatsApp, making it easy to coordinate our plans. The location of Agriturismo Il Salice in Val Parma was simply beautiful. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, it provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the charming ambiance of the property. They also have animals to visit and the river is close by.

The rooms were quite noisy, especially since they were situated close to the reception area, resulting in disturbances from guests coming and going. Moreover, the lack of air conditioning or fans made the rooms uncomfortably hot, particularly during the warmer months. We also encountered some disappointments regarding the food offerings. During our "apperitivo", we found the snacks to be rather dry. When we requested some olive oil to accompany the appetizers, we were surprised to be informed that it was not included. The lack of flexibility left us with a somewhat negative impression. Furthermore, breakfast was advertised as included, but it was limited to coffee and a sweet snack, like cake or sugary yogurt. For those seeking a heartier continental breakfast with items like bread and eggs, an additional charge of 12 EUR was required, which we felt was a bit excessive.

A friendly retreat inn the Valley.

Typical italian breakfast, with great coffee, and cakes. Tentative and service minded host with a great smile. beatiful location inn a lush valley, with various interesting sites. Fun and adorable animals.

A smal fridge in the room, would be handy, when there is too few guests to hold resturant open for lunch. or to store some beers.

Beautiful place to stay in, best to come during the spring or fall when no to hot.

The place was beautiful, with amazing views and the house itself was beautiful as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good as well. The room was spacious, the shower was great, and everything was very clean.

We were there during July and it was extremely hot, there was no air conditioning or a fan in the room and therefor it was extremely hot during the night.

Poor

breakfast was miserable for agritourism hostel, moldy breads and packaged jams, poor breakfast, the room was next to the reception, without any insulation, it felt like we were sleeping at the reception

Amazing place in Italy.

This was one of our best holidays. Where to start. First, Giuseppe (the owner) is fantastic, friendly, helpful and funny. The accommodation was also fantastic. Apart from the beautiful rooms/appartement and the swimming pool, they have horses, a donkey, goats, cats and dogs. You can walk to the river from the accommodation. There is breakfast and dinner (in the evening there is a small restaurant with good food). This place was amazing ! We will surely return. You can make an excursion to Parma, La Spezia, Cinque Terra... Our kids (8 and 10) also loved this place !

Apartment: very spacious, renovated, delightful combination of new and old, comfortable beds. Very relaxing atmosphere, great hosts, pool.

Lieu paisible pour se ressourcer

Le cadre est superbe : montagne du val de Parme. Il y a des animaux (ânes, chèvres, chevaux, poules). Les lieux sont très authentiques et bien équipés. Au pied de la rivière. Restaurant le plus proche à 1km environ (trattoria). Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion d’essayer la piscine. Petit déjeuner disponible (principalement sucré mais appréciable). Très flexible sur l’heure d’arrivée. Restaurant disponible si 10 réservations.

Un peu bruyant pour la chambre située à l’accueil mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé car nous nous levons tôt.
