Extremely cosy lodge for a wintery break. As a family of two adults and two children we had plenty of space and the facilities in the cabin and location were excellent. Easy walking distance to Aviemore centre even with a four year old. Would definitely book again. Very clean, we did not go to the on site bar so cannot comment on that but maybe next time. Also beautiful scenery.
Decking could do with a lick of paint and a slightly later check out of 11am would have been good as check in is not until 4pm (although we managed to get into the cabin earlier as it was ready so grateful for that.) I personally think check in should be from 3 and check out 11.

Thank you so much Gregor and Helen for the perfect stay ,the accomodation was super clean ,cosy and so peaceful and quiet and you had thought of everything. Wonderful location , we walked everywhere , surrounded by nature , great walks and loads of places of great interest .The Highland Wildlife Park is a must they do incredible work and research to preserve endangered species ,the animals are so well cared for and fascinating talks from the zooligists while watching the Polar bears , American tigers and Wolfs being fed .The view of the Cairngorms from the chalet was stunning and the bird life and stunning trees plus the River Spey all on your door step .Thank you , the bed was so comfortable and the ensuite with a great shower and tons of hot water .Will definitely be back was wonderful .
