Foxglove retreat

Everything! So clean and really comfortable.

Owner had thoughtfully provided everything you could need in terms of snacks and breakfast items

Nothing wrong with property, but it’s a very small village so no pub

Just what was needed, couple quiet nights away. Nice to have completely detached acommidation. Very private. It was quiet, even to sit outside on bench, lovely to just look out to fields

Husband struggled abit has with slanted ceilings, banged his head good few times.

Location was lovely access was easy through a secure key lock.

I am so disappointed with this stay (I travel with my business and stay away weekly). Firstly the hygiene is incredibly poor when you open the door in the garage (yes inside the garage) to the apartment you are greeted with dirty photo attached, continues upstairs. The crockery was no better dirty mugs not pleasant and while the property is described above a garage which I am fine with walking through a garage to get to the property was not what was expected. Then it came to the facilities the microwave is in the garage not the actual apartment so you have to go downstairs into the garage if you want to use the microwave pic attached. Breakfast included the photo in the description on booking.com is so misleading it needs to be removed by booking.com. What you actually get is a few old bars which I also photographed of bars that have potentially been left by many other visitors. All photos were taken to send to family as they couldn’t believe what I was saying since we also stayed local the week previous at a different property
