Amazing stay

Wonderful stay, located in such excellent location! Host is so nice, we even got welcome gifts (amazing cheese!!). Huge place, had a very good stay

I guess since we were 3 females, we really missed more mirrors because one was located only in a bathroom... So if someone is taking a shower, you need to wait for a mirror :( Also, window blinds were quite weak as it had big gaps, and I am sure sleep sensitive Bathrooms need bit more hooks Otherwise wonderful stay

Unforgettable!

The location was excellent. Close to many of the main attractions, yet secluded enough to provide peace and quiet and connect you to nature. The property itself was beautifully and thoughtfully made. Spacious and bright spaces, comfortable beds, modern amenities, and meticulously clean. It was perfect!

An oasis in Bohinj

The apartments are really lovely, modern and spacious. The location is great, nestled amongst the trees and close to the lake. The owners Marija and Primoz are very helpful and friendly, providing lots of information and a delicious local cheese as a welcome gift. We love it here and are coming back.

Wow wow. Everything looked new and super clean. The layout is very thoughtful so we felt very much at home. Bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds, kitchen fabulous to cook in, living room sofa comfortable, lots of places to put our belongings(we had alot), good sized bathroom with great shower pressure and heated towel rack that was switched on from the moment we arrived. To top it off, there was daily cleaning service and trash emptied. On our first day there it rained heavily but we didn't mind staying in at all. Overall we loved our stay and plan to return in future.

Nothing for the apt. The restaurant was a miss for us.

Fully equipped wooden-style appartments in perfect location

The location is just perfect: next to Bohinj lake, at walking distance to Vogel cable car, a good starting point to Savica waterfall and other trails. The appartment is very nice, designed in a wooden style and well equipped, good kitchen with everything you need. Washing machine is spare and available in the separate washing room. Cleaning is daily, with towels change. Parking is next to the appartment building. Very welcoming and helpful host Maria!

Clean apartment in an outstanding location but check-in process inconvenient

Incredible location at a quiet end of Lake Bohinj. The apartment building is surrounded by mountains and trees, you only hear nature. Spectacular views from our apartment's balcony. 5 minutes away there is a campground with a boathouse that rents out kayaks, SUPs, boats; a restaurant and bakery; and several beach areas. There is also a nice looking restaurant right next to the apartments, but we didn't eat there. No store so do your shopping on the way. The apartment is clean and has everything you need but the furniture is a bare minimum and the apartment doesn't have any character. TV with Netflix and cable. The beds on a firmer side and fairly comfortable but the sheets were not very soft and scratchy. Clean big bathroom with a walk-in shower and soft-close toilet. Comfortable L-shaped couch in the living room.

The AC was blowing hot air on arrival. When addressed with Maria, she said she was aware and a repairman was coming the next day. The following day it was not blowing hot air anymore but it wasn't cooling the room either, at least not at the 16 C we set it on. The check-in was cumbersome, to say the least. The official check-in hours are 1600-2000 and guests are supposed to call one of two contacts an hour before arrival to meet up and get a key. The day we were checking in, we called Maria around 1430 and were able to reach Marija with no problem. She was very flexible with the meet up time (we requested a later check-in, at 2100 thinking we'd need more time in Bled, about 30 min away from the apartment). However, we ended up being done in Bled earlier so we called Marija again. She didn't answer so we left a message we'd like to meet up at 2000 after all. We got there shortly after 8pm and sat in the car, waiting. Sent her an SMS, no response. We waited for an hour until around 9pm we reached her on the phone. Marija claimed she sent me an SMS and called me back but I had no missed calls or messages. Anyway, maybe it was just a misunderstanding. Marija explained over the phone how to get to the apartment and it turned out the apt doors were standing wide open, with a key in the door, this whole time. We were told to go in and make ourselves comfortable. Marija stopped by a few minutes later and asked for the tax payment and our passports saying she would be back in a few minutes, just needed to register us at the office downstairs. By 10pm I finally called her again and asked if she was returning that night. She was back a few minutes later with our passports. The whole process was unnecessarily complicated and inconvenient.

Awesome apartment in true sense..

Apartment was really good, in the fantastic green and serane location. Host was very friendly and even provided complimentary cheese and breakfast on our first day ( for breakfast as I had no cash on me, and was suppose to pay by card on my last day, as she wasn't available, she generously took it on the house). The place itself was cool, close to the bus stop and lake.. Though the area itself is sparsely populated, it had its own charm. Would love to come back to this apartment in future..

Awesome apartment next to lake Bohinj- I can't wait to return

LLake Bohinj is magical, and this apartment is just as enchanting. The owners are incredibly kind and always willing to help or share useful information. They even surprised us with cheese from their factory—a lovely gesture and absolutely delicious! We enjoyed it so much that we visited the factory ourselves to buy more products, all of which were very tasty. The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished, and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you might need. They also provide helpful leaflets and QR codes linking to useful websites. Their focus on being eco-friendly is especially appealing. The lake and hiking trails are very close by. The building is modern, the garden is large, and there's convenient parking right next to the house. You can easily reach Vogel and many trails on foot. I can’t wait to return!

Peaceful base to explore Bohinj and Bled

I stayed for two nights and found this apartment near Lake Bohinj to be absolutely lovely. It was clean, well equipped, and had a peaceful balcony with beautiful mountain views. The area was very quiet, yet conveniently located for exploring both Bohinj and Bled without the crowds. A perfect spot for anyone looking for a serene getaway. The owner was kind and welcoming, which made the stay even better

Beautiful apartment, in a perfect location (bus, boat, hiking trails) The apartment is well equipped, the host is very kind. Lake Bohinj and its surroundings are breathtaking, much more beautiful than Bled. Lots to see, never boring. We will definitely be back.

Spacious, clean property close to Bohinj.

The property is spacious and very clean, good parking area and garden with seating. Our apartment had a private balcony and wasn't overlooked. Plenty of kitchen and dining equipment but the small knife was missing, so on enquiring we were given one to use during our stay. Stove top coffee maker which was a bonus. Bins emptied everyday. Marija was helpful during our stay and answered any concerns quickly. Good location to walk to the waterfall and to drive to trailheads.

The apartment is too far out of Bohinj to walk to eat out in the evening without driving and the restaurant next door is only open at a weekend, so this was a setback. The time to meet up for the key handover wasn't communicated properly so we were not met and left hanging about until we managed to ring them. It would have been better to have a key safe and code so you can arrive at a time convenient to the traveller. On the day of key handover the roads are busy and our hike took longer than we planned so unless you can use your telephone abroad you have no way of contacting anyone. The pillows and bed were uncomfortable for us and sadly you can hear noise from other apartments so it's not fully soundproofed.

Fairy tale place

I liked the property and the location. Slovenia in overall and Ukanc surroundings are of rare natural beauty, We could easily spend a week just sitting by the shore of the lake Bohinj. Many places of interest are short walk by, Quite and tranquil place. Very clean and perfectly kept apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. We hope to come back again.

It was a beautiful and quiet location near lake bohinj. The apartment itself was beautiful and fully equipped, so we were able to cook meals. It is within walking distance of the cable car.

This place is very isolated. It is difficult to get transport from here to busier parts of the nearby settlement, as it necessitates a drive.

A perfect place to stay in Lake Bohinj

Everything ! The location is an ideal place to stay in Lake Bohinj. The building and grounds are very striking and impeccably well-maintained. Our room was spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. Our hosts were polite and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back. 🙂

Difficult to think of any improvements really as everything about the place was excellent! Only things I can think of would possibly be slightly comfier pillows and a mattress topper for the bed and then everything would be perfect. Both were comfy enough anyway though.

Beautiful new, comfortable and well-equipped apartment in a new house in the peace of nature and not far from the lake. Very helpful and pleasant owner. The restaurant a few meters from the house was closed because it was out of season, but it was possible to go to the nearby village. (in season you can go to dinner in slippers :-)) We spent a night here on a moto-trip but will definitely come back as it is an ideal starting point for treks to the nearby mountains and Triglav National Park.
