Beautiful chalet within minutes of Vogel or the lake

Great location for skiing at Vogel, being only minutes away. Chalet was beautiful and so clean with a large picture window looking out onto the beautiful countryside. it had everything we needed for our stay. We loved especially lighting the fire, and just admiring the views. Very chill and relaxing stay.

Beautiful area, great place to stay with bbq lots of outdoor seating and a great sauna for something special.

Communication was clear and simple. Location is great, space is cleverly designed and outdoor space is good even in wetter weather! So peaceful and we loved sleeping with the doors open to hear the river.

Not really a dislike, but access to the river was more challenging than it looks. Breakfast may have been great but I arrived too late to order it for the following day.

Luxurious sanctuary surrounded by nature, perfect for an active family holiday

Fabulous location at the end of lake Bohinj, surrounded by mountains, right next to the stream and short walk from the pebble beach at the lake. Communication with Javak was very good throughout, from instructions before we arrived, a WhatsApp number for day-to-day questions and a bulging information pack on things to do when we were there. The chalet was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable and everything was fitted out to a high specification - e.g. a good induction cooker and coffee machine, a full set of decent with pans, utensils and crockery, a fabulous sauna and shower, large TVs that the kids could cast to, a Weber BBQ etc. We felt ourselves relax from the moment we got there and had a wonderful time in nature and as a family.

The most minor of criticisms is that the recycling was a little confusing - the instructions didn't quite match the bins in the house or on site.

A unique location and experience.

You immediately experience a sense of peace and calm as soon as you step in. Everything is thought through: the materials, appliances, and toiletries. The location is dream-like. The only noise you hear is from the mountain river at the back of the house. I haven’t felt as well rested in years. It is very cozy. And there is even a sauna in the chalet! Our expectations were high given the price, but the property exceeded them.

Lovely stay in the best location in Bohinj

The appartment is located in a phenomenal place, walking distance to the best part of the lake and also great for all other activities (hiking, skiing on Vogel, etc.). It is easy to find and once you get there you are greeted by an impeccable surrounding. The host was very friendly and the check-in process was fast and easy. Also, all the communication before we arrived was fast, friendly and effortless. The appartment is big with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. We loved the big bathtub in the bathroom.

The 3rd bed was extremely short. I'm 195cm tall and my legs hung off the bed even when I wasn't fully extended. Keep in mind if you are tall. If not, this will not be an issue as the bed is quite comfy otherwise.

Peaceful amazing view

The chalet and its surroundings is so beautiful. We woke up and go outside and admire the mountains. It is walking distance from Lake Bohinj, we managed to rent kayaks near the camping site. The chalet is well equipped, you have all that you need. Communication with the staff was easy through whatsapp

The chalet was very nice but sometimes it felt a bit too compact. The check-in and check-out were all done through whatsapp. Even though in the chalet there were a lot of very useful flyers, it would have been nice to talk to someone at the reception and ask for guidance. We still loved it!

For first-timers and experienced Triglav veterans, I can’t imagine a better place to base than ALPIK Chalets!

Traveling Slovenia from the U.S. as a family of 5 with three grown and well traveled kids, the bar was high and ALPIK Chalets exceeded our expectations in every way, particularly the quality of the accommodations. The setting was lovely and simple framed by mountains and next to the stream. The chalet was comfortable, well-appointed and spacious and the location just a minute from the Vogel cable car made it possible for us to hike almost to the summit (a little snow left up there) on a tight schedule. And less than five from the east end of the lake made it easy to grab a few groceries and dine out.

You feel you’re in a fairytale. Gorgeous comfortable chalet in a stunning location

Beautiful decorated homely comfortable spacious chalet with all the equipment and facilities you might need and more. The location is superb - peaceful with just the sound of the clearest blue small river nearby. The views of mountains and meadows full of wild flowers are glorious. I felt I was in a fairytale! Hosts very welcoming and responsive too. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Excellent stay in Lake Bonhji.

Ideally situated at the far end of the lake. The site was manicured beautifully. Flowers in bloom, steps from a small river that feeds into Lake Bohnji. We will visit again. Cheese gift, greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There was coffee on site in our small chalet, no tea for tea drinkers. I wish we would have been more prepared to bring all staples of food, tea with us. Though a run to the market was easy. This was our first trip to Lake Bohnji.

Just like in a fairytale

As an owner similarly styled cabin here in Slovakia, ALPIK owner has convinced me that he is truly and honestly dedicated, just as we are, to provide the best possible accomodation service and experience to the quests. Beautiful Chalet, walking distance from Vogel ski resort gondala

We really enjoyed our stay at Alpik Chalets. Set in beautiful surrounding and perfectly situated at the base of Vogel Ski resort, our chalet was everything we needed. I would have no hesitation booking again when I next travel to Slovenia.

Amazing all around

Location was great for accessing the ski mountain.

Hot water ran out after one shower. Not a huge deal but if I had my wife with me it would have caused an issue. Three guys for a weekend we just pushed through a cold shower.

Great relaxing chalet in a beautiful location

The place is high quality with great amenities in a great, relaxing location. Staff were very helpful as well. The local cheese on arrival was a nice touch, too.

A slight rub is the coffee, in my opinion. For the price you pay for a night, include the coffee. They ask for a donation, with a nice story behind it, but if they care so much about their town, they should be the ones contributing to their "story". In the end, it isn't a donation, and they charge you for it anyways. Aside from this, though, the place is great and highly recommended.

It is a paradise!

A place full of magic and nature: mountains, lake, waterfalls. We went hiking and kayaking, we also had days of relaxation and good conversations in a wonderful place.

Everything was fantastic: cleanliness, location, order, keys, communication, staff. We recommend it 100%.

Peacefull valley vacation near the lake.

The apartment amenities were 5 star in terms of furnishing, design,decorationd,lighting, kitchen supplies, bathroom and storage. This included an espresso machine with Lilly cspsules and milk frother and induction stove. I loved the occitane soap and shampoo provided in the shower. You could tell that an incredible amount of effort went into desiging this modern apartment. The view of the mountains from the geranium boxed balcony and windows was amazing. We also received a beutiful folder of information about activities in the area which was very useful. The grounds were 5 star. The property sits on the sparkling green river with multiple benches and or wooden picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors. You can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes and the waterfall hike from the apartment or just stroll along the many paths around the lake or into the mountsins. The vogel ski gondolla is just a 5 min drive or short walk. The nearest market is about 10 minute drive although you can walk to a restaurant/bar.

First of all there is no air conditioning. We arrived on an unusually very hot day and it took several hours for the apartment on this second floor to cool down. It did indeed cool down eventually and was cool enough to sleep comfortably but i would install ceiling fans especially in the bedroom to improve air flow as there is no way to get a cross breeze. In, addition this meant that we had to sleep with the windiws open. On thd first night i was kept awake by a large family that was staying across thr road that was talking loudly and laughing untill 12 pm. We had less than expected privacy as with windows needing to be open you hear everyone in the apartments next door talking and obviously they hear everthing you say. Listening to crying babies and kids fighting with parents is less than ideal as we were a couple who were there fir some rest and relaxation.If privacy and quiet is an issue i would recommend staying in the individual chalets that are set back from the road and adjacent to the river. These were not available as we booked very late. Also the stairs upto the apartment and up to the bedroom are very steep and narrow which makes it hard to carry up a large suitcase. Again there are apts on ground floor. If you have bad knees also reccomend staying on ground floor as bathroom is on bottom floor. The apartment also needs a place to dry clothes . Perhaps a small folding stand on the balcony attached to the wall or just even some hooks. I saw that others just hung their towels over the balcony but i felt that ruined the asthetics of the building. The bed was too firm for me as i am accustomed to a pilliw top matress but my husband slept soundly. Also felt that towels for the lake should be provided as the price was high. People flying dont have room to take beach towels in a suitcase.

It's like a fairytale. The house, the river, the lake... everything in the house is authentic and clean. The bohinj breakfast was very good and the coffee is phenomenal. The woman in the reception is sooo kind, and helpful. We will go back sure

Maybe a very small thing. The beds are loud because of the wood. My little girl was in our room and sometimes she woke up when i get out of the bed. And the pillow was too tough for me. But everything else was perfect
