Beautiful place next to river under mountains in a calm environment. :)

Overall a pleasant stay

Lake Bohinj is really beautiful, and the accommodation was a perfect location. The room was good, it was clean and the kitchen facilities were basic but met our needs. The kettle and some of the other kitchen facilities are in the main public area, as opposed to the room, so it’s for everyone’s use, which I didn’t think was overly clear when booking. There is parking right outside, so perfect if you’re in need of this. Our host was accommodating at the start, was welcoming and told us some of the best places to visit. Our main lights also switched off, and she arranged an electrician to fix it super quick.

I think it would be helpful to have some of the facilities in the apartments themselves, for example a kettle. It also stated there were laundry facilities at an extra cost, but this wasn’t obvious where this was, or what our options were but to be fair we didn’t ask. The host also didn’t say anything when we left, we weren’t told where to leave the keys, and despite our message we didn’t get a response.

Exceptional place in incredible location

Exceptional location: river access from the garden. Beautifully located in the shaded river woodland just at the top of the lake. Klavdija is a wonderful host: informative, kind and proactive. The house is great, we particularly liked the spacious common room with great herbal teas and a huge sofa, opening to the garden. The apartment is spacious, calming and quiet, and we loved having breakfast and dinner on our balcony.

The kitchen is small and in an awkward spot across the apartment and bathroom doors with bad lighting.

Amazing dogfriendly and authentic place in a beautiful surrounding by the lak!

The place is convenient with the river flowing in the backyard. The river which leads to the lake of Bohinj. Many sights and activities are nearby. Very nice for walks and loving nature. The apartment is a little dated but that makes it authentic and homey. It is also a dream for dogs. Very dog friendly. The owner is very nice, passionate and full of beautiful tips!

Maybe the bed could be a bit wider An extra mirror to dress up Extra towels or something that wil dry the towels faster A larger curtain to blackout more, although the shutters on the outside can be closed.

Warm welcome in a dreamy mountain setting

We arrived in Bohinj soaked from cycling through the rain, and Claudia (the host) immediately welcomed us with warm clothes and great flexibility on check-in. The location is absolutely stunning—right in the heart of nature. The common area has a cozy fireplace, which made our rainy evening feel like a scene from a dream. Everything was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained.

The apartment was very warm and comfortable. The surroundings and views are spectacular. We had everything we needed and felt like we were really on holiday. Our host, Klavdija was excellent and made us feel very welcome and at home.

Everything The area was so beautiful surrounded by icy trees over looking a crystal clear stream. Coming from Australia this is like nothing I had ever experienced before. Warm comfortable and spacious.

Lovely stay near the lake

Very friendly host who gives you great info on hikes/things to do in the area. Location is really nice and rooms are great. But I have to be honest, my best memory of this place has to be the cat :) so cuddly and cute...

Great stay in Ukanc!

The location is nothing other than idillic! Ukanc is by far the nicest place around lake Bohinj. Claudia, the host is very friendly and always available to help. The stream flowing at the back of the house is just magical. A lovely beach to swim on the lake is literally a few moments away. A great location to access numerous walks in the area, including the ascent to Mt Triglav.

Be aware the apartments are very small, however the communal areas and the garden compensate for that. The palace was a mix of families and hikers with a pleasant chilled out atmosphere.

Nice place in nature

Great place, for relayx and meet some new people. Separatly privat room and shar area with tables, chairs. In share area is possible to take some cofee, tea, and spice if you want to some cook and not have it. Nice place in nature and gread start place for trip to enjoy Bohinji lake and nature.

Exceptional

The host was just amazing, very kind and caring. The location was very nice and quiet, with just a 5 minute walk to the lake beach. We really liked the idea of the shared corner with tea, coffee, oil, seasonings, etc. Being the house, there was a very nice back garden with a terrace where we were eating while looking at the mountains.

The house is very well located. The scenery around the house is amazing. The property is very cozy and nice. And the lady owner makes you feel like you’re at home.

Location of house is exceptional, between mountains, river and lake, we were planning to go skiing on Vogel, but weather was bad so there was no problem to go to nearby ski destination Kranjska Gora. Whole family vacation.

Wonderful location, moderate apartment.

The location is wonderful. The house is placed in Triglav National Park close to the river and surrounded by mountains. The host was friendly and helpful.

The apartment was much darker than in the photos. The light on the balcony didn't work. The cleanliness could be better. In September there was also quite cold inside the apartment. In our opinion, it was too expensive for that kind of standard.

The apartment and the entire facility are extremely comfortable to stay in and equipped with everything you need. The facility is surrounded by beautiful nature and is a perfect place for relaxation and rest. We were looking for such a facility for our vacation, and one of the main criteria was that it be pet friendly. Mrs. Klaudija is a very friendly owner who will welcome you upon arrival and give you instructions to make your vacation even better. I would definitely recommend TUBA apartments as a place for vacation.
