We were unable to use the kitchen hob, which kept turning itself off etc. Difficulty communicating direct with hosts and burocratic inflexibility which left us paying four nights for three because our change of plan came one day late. We also found it impossible to claim the £40 bonus we'd been promised by Bookings.com although this time we HAD tried to apply within the given deadline. I've written with details and reference number to Booking Com head office but had no reply...... WHAT CAN WE OR YOU DO ABOUT THAT? (not the host's fault, but the company's, as with the FAILURE TO MENTION ADDITIONAL SECURITY DEPOSIT CHARGE up front when we booked our stay. HOW ELSE TO COMPLAIN?
