Capponi Palace

Lovely large traditional Italian apartment with high ceilings, balconies, a gorgeous view of the garden, and relatively comfortable beds (bit hard). An easy walk to supermarket, bars, trattoria, and the Duomo, which can be viewed at the end of the street.

It's an excellent location, quiet and about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. There are some great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. It's a lovely old building and the apartment is on the first floor.

First, I'd like to make it clear that this is a review of the 1 bedroom apartment on the first floor. The listing treats the 2 properties as one and they are quite seperate and I think, different. The ducted air-con was apparently not working - no remotes to turn them on and no explanation or apology. There was a mobile unit in the bedroom with a hose out of the window. The seal was poor and i had to repair it with duct tape. The mobile unit ran at approx. 55db. The bathroom sink was badly pitted and cracked, grout patchy and tiles stained, and the shower was claustrophobic. There was very little communication or information from management. I even had to message to ask for the wifi password, also check out instructions. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. I would not book again.
