The location of this property is the star of the show. It is literally next door to the Golden Gate in old town Gdańsk. It is a less than 5 minute walk to the Forum (3-story mall) and less than 15 minute walk to the train station. The stroll down Długa is lovely, with so many cafes, restaurants and shops. At the other end is the Green Gate and the River. The River is also a lovely place to walk and spend time. Check in was a breeze and communication with the host was very responsive and quick. The apartment is small, yet it is all you need for a short stay in Gdansk. There is no AC in the apartment but the temps were cool and there is a fan so it wasn’t an issue for us. The window seats in the living area were our favorite part! We all spent time there people watching. There is no lift, but the apartment is on the first floor, maybe 20 steps up with landings, so not awful. Shampoo packets were supplied but no other toiletries. The bedroom is tight on space, but the bed was comfortable. There is another bed in the loft area. My 11- year old stayed up there and loved it but the ceiling height is low so not sure if a taller adult would be comfortable. The sofa pulls out to a full-size futon and there was extra bedding in the closet in the living room.These are by no means negatives; just realities that sometimes aren’t mentioned. We would 100% recommend staying here. We walked everywhere and truly enjoyed our stay!

Great location for a short-term stay in Gdansk. It's located right in front of the Golden Gate, but far enough from the main nightlife crowds, so it's not too loud. The only downside is the lack of washing machine (there's no much room for that), so it's not really suitable for longer stays, but for a couple of nights, it's pretty good and close to most attractions -- one of them right out of the window, terminal SKM station, restaurants, and so on.

Ad said apartment had washer/dryer. The dryer consisted of a clothes drying rack.
