Blue Mandarin Old Town

Great location just a few minutes walk to the main features of Gdansk by the river. Very close to local shops and a 15 minute walk to the station.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the location in the city center was very convenient. It was easy to get around, and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment we needed.

The apartment was a bit difficult to find, especially when walking in the rain with three children. There is no elevator, so guests with heavy luggage or elderly travelers may want to take this into consideration. As the apartment is located right in the city center, it can be quite noisy at night, and the clock tower chimes every hour. During the summer, the room gets quite warm if the windows are closed due to limited air circulation. However, opening the windows means dealing with the noise from outside. The bathroom had a slight odor, and the ventilation fan was very loud. If you are sleeping in the loft area above, the noise from the fan can be quite disturbing. Also, since the apartment is on the third floor, I think it would be beneficial to have child safety restrictors on the windows for families traveling with young children. These were only minor inconveniences and may not be an issue for everyone, but I thought they were worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the clean apartment and its excellent location in the heart of the city.
