Super great place in beautiful Mandello del Lario

First of all, Mandello is a fantastic location. This charming village offers plenty to do and is perfect for scenic walks along the lake or through the park. It's less touristy than the more well-known towns, which gives it an authentic, local feel. The service from Mamma Ciccia was excellent—very professional and responsive. The ladies spoke great English and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We absolutely loved the apartment. While it’s not brand new, it has everything you need, is spacious, well-maintained, and gives you that warm feeling—like visiting an Italian relative. The bed linens and towels were fresh, white, and felt brand new. The view from the apartment is simply stunning. It can be a bit lively at times - but this is Italy! People enjoy life here, and that adds to the charm. I imagine it’s one of the calmer places even in peak season. There are several cafes nearby and a big supermarket in 5 min drive. Parking in May was easy - we found free spots nearby without any trouble. We’d definitely stay here again. In fact, two of our friends have already asked for the details after seeing our photos! Thank you, Mamma Ciccia team. You’re doing an amazing job!

Awesome place with spectacular views of the lake!

Guliana greeted us and had our suitcases delivered to our room and when we returned in an hour she escorted us to our gorgeous apartment. The view was breathtaking in many rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. When we needed extra towels we were able to get them.. The 2 restaurants associated with Mamma Cicci were great .. The ferry was literally 500 ft away..and we bought tickets there to go to the different towns! What a beautiful area … A must see.

Superb

Brilliant location, waking up to the lake view every day was amazing. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by as well as the train station and ferry terminal. No air con but was not an issue as apartment stayed fairly cool during the night.

Would have liked slight better equipped kitchen - there was no chopping board, knives were a little blunt and no basics like salt & olive oil (we ended up buying some and left it there but presume the property clears out the cupboards after each guest).

Merveilleux !

Emplacement parfait, appartement spacieux et confortable. Avec vue sur le lac de Côme. Dans un joli village calme, loin de l’agitation. Embarcadère pour Bellagio etc à 3 mn à pied et baignade à 5mn.

Grymt läge vid vattnet, lugnt!

Usel wifi, och att det kändes som om mam bodde hos en gammal tant, gamla möbler, ingen charm, lägenheten behöver en rejäl uppdatering för komfort och trivsel. Sen bra frukost, men inte för 15 euro per person, även om det är Lake Como priser…
