House with pool, sleeps 6, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms near Sarlat

Wonderful stay in Sarlat. The property was very well equipped, comfortable and ideally situated to explore the delights of the Dordogne. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had an extended stay and had some some fantastic evenings being entertained by our hosts and their family’s they could not have been more welcoming. The property itself was ideal for our larger dog who loved the open but well contained space. The swimming pool is directly outside the hosts property but they were wonderfully discreet when we used it. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful view and air of calm. Our teenage girls loved the pool and having their own bedroom space in the house. We loved having a seperate parents space attached to the house. We all loved relaxing in and around the house. The hosts warm welcome and helpfulness added to the stay. There was plenty of outdoor space for lounging and eating out. A good location for accessing groceries and visiting the tourist sights of the area. We visited Sarlat, Lascaux, Gouffre de Padirac and went canoeing down the Dordogne river. A great time was had by all. Thank you.

Our family of 5 stayed for two weeks in this lovely property during the heatwave of August 2018. Marie and Michel were perfect hosts, available if needed but giving us plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful pool and scenic grounds. The house was modern and clean with two bedrooms in the main building and a separate very spacious master bedroom with large ensuite which was perfect for a family with teenage children. Sarlat is an easy 5 minute drive away and we ate in one of the many lovely restaurants in town or cooked on the garden bbq which was fantastic. There is a large supermarket a couple of minutes drive away. We would thoroughly recommend this property and this part of France for a great holiday. We enjoyed the many beautiful villages within a short drive and had great fun kayaking the Dordogne, visiting the beautiful castles and gardens and the Monkey World rope course.

Location agréable dans une région interressante tant pour l'architecture et les paysages que pour la gastronomie. A noter que la piscine se trouve devant la maison des propriétaires, pas très loin du gîte et qu'elle est à partager. Les propriétaires sont sympatiques et accueillants, seul bémol, la propreté du gîte n'était pas du tout satisfaisante à notre arrivée. Nous sommes certains que Marie et Michel en auront pris note, et que cela ne se reproduira pas avec d'autres locataires.
