There was a nice picture in the room, gave it a homely feel. they provided towels for everyone. there was a fridge provided aswell which was useful. the location was good as it was near to shops and was close to creamfields

I heard a lot of mixed reviews about old swan guest house from the first to last day everything was perfect rooms where spotless dining room and kitchen where always clean and tidy ,I tried to book to stay longer but was booked up ,the cleaner kate was amazing always checking if everything was ok and if we needed anything ,she takes pride in her job , can't wait to go back to see her again,the only thing was not having a tele in the room but wouldnt stop me from going back thanks for a wonderful stay

Comfortable stay for overnight in Liverpool

Location- very close to Liverpool centre. Facilities were fine, at expected standards for the price. Easy instructions for access.

Bathroom door was broken, could not latch it, so had to watch to ensure nobody could just come in !!

The Guest House was Quiet, l was happy with dining room and kitchen plus bathrooms . There was plenty of parking on the street. Plus easy access to bus routes and shops.

It was cheap and cheerful, the owner came and cleaned every day, if you needed somewhere to stay it is acceptable through the week

The bedding was a bit grey as opposed to white, and the room smelt of old tobacco which I later realised was an air freshener, then Saturday night a load of druggies turned up shouting all night, the didn’t do any harm or break anything just not quite what you’d want stopping there with a child

Good value for money, cozy guest house in a good location, well connected to Liverpool centre, 20 minutes on the bus. House is old but it is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Location good, Lot of noise from other rooms and people banging front door who hadn't got key codes . disappointed that there was no TV in the room . Also the front door key code acsess was changed half way through my stay .No on notified me about this ,so I had to get in touch with the property owner for a new code .

The beds were comfortable and there was enough room for 3 people, it was nice and quiet even at night when I had to have the window open because it was warm.

I could smell cannabis on the hallway and stairs and even in the room sometimes, it could have been a bit cleaner the bathroom and the floors, but in terms of what I paid I didn't expect the Hilton.

It's not that I didn't like the place, just for what I paid for the night was way too expensive, for what you get. It's a house with a load of rooms, needs a total spruce up and make it a bit more welcoming

The bed was uncomfortable and had a lot of hairs on it. The check in process was not welcoming and took some time (I was standing on the doorstep for around 20 minutes). I was also surprised to be asked for my ID before I was allowed in. It’s a very basic and fairly cheap place to stay.

I hardly slept due to the noisy residents in the other rooms. Drunken people running up & down stairs shouting, slamming doors from midnight onwards.

We will stay there again as our room was spacious and beds were comfortable, as a couple who like privacy it’s perfect.
