Gem of a find...

Excellent location.Local bus straight into Liverpool every 8 mins.Julie was just so lovely and friendly & advised us where to go in Liverpool.The house was lovely & warm all over with clean shower & toilet.Julie was very welcoming from our arrival to departure. Comfortable bed and good privicy.I would definitely recommend this gem of a find if ever visiting Liverpool!

WEEKEND BREAK FOR CONCERT.

Julie was very friendly and welcoming. Nice clean room Good bus route into City centre, £2 pp one way. Cheaper to get singles, as opposed to paying for a return? .

Bed was a small double, and mattress too soft for me. Only as I have a firm mattress at home. Shared bathroom, but OK for the price we paid.

Great place to stay, ideally located for Liverpool clean and comfortable.

I met the host on arrival who showed me the room and facilities. Julie was very polite and took time to explain everything of note. The room was spacious, clean and had a large TV, comfy double bed, small cooler fridge and tea coffee kettle etc. The shower was very modern and had immediate hot water. I enjoyed my stay.

Location is a lovely little country park. Great property with lovely surroundings. I don’t think I can fit everything wonderful I have to say about Julie. We had the best time, made us very welcome into her home, we could sit and chat for ages or just go into our room and chill. So you get the best of both. We have made an amazing friend. I would and will be recommending chateau Julie to anyone that’s visiting Liverpool. Can’t wait to return. Will miss you Julie. Lots of love to you and little molly the doggy

A brilliant and cheap stay for Liverpool

First of all the house is beautiful everything is nice and clean and the garden is spacious and well kept and we had everything we needed during our stay. Secondly the owner is so nice she is so welcoming and always ready to help out with any issues you might have and lastly the room is cosy and perfect for a week stay

A memorable and comfortable stay with welcoming hosts

We did not book breakfast but had access to a very clean and well equipped kitchen to cook our own food Julie and Craig could not off been more helpful or accommodating nothing was to much trouble Will definitely go back and recommend a stay home n chateau Julie Walking distance to Croxteth Park a grand country home and park with fabulous walks and access to the stately home and farm at certain times in the year A bus ride into Liverpool and all its attractions

Good value for money.

Clean and functional room. Very fair price, considering it was Eurovision weekend. Even with shared facilities there was still enough privacy. Bus stop very close, with direct connection to the center.

Everything was OK, considering it was just a room with shared bath/toilet facilities. We usually go for whole apartments and sharing the bathroom is not something we would normally choose, but these were special dates and private accommodations/ apartments were not available and/or not affordable. Therefore, thanks to Chateau Julie for the fair price!

Family trip

The dog was lovely and beds were comfy . Julie was very friendly

When we first got there the fire alarm was bleeping constant had to ask for that to be stopped. It says breakfast included but there was never any thing out . Julie said we can look in the cuboard but all cuboard were messy and full of the family food no breakfast bits plus no one wants to go through someone cuboard . The room was dusty and cables dangling for plug in plus surely a fire risk. The pictures show a beautiful garden but it was messy furniture and garden bits everywhere. The house was un finished laundry on the floor tools left around and things un finished. I had to ask for the heating to be put on as it was freezing which again I should not have to ask. No hand towels in the bathroom and although I was told it would only be my party using the bathroom it was all guests. The TV was always loud and even when we had our door closed the first night was untill 12 I was so tired and felt like I had to constantly ask for everything which made it awkward . I wish I had something nice to say about our stay but the only good thing was little dog called mollie . Julie was lovely but I'm sorry I would not stay again

Very clean house, lovely hostess, great price.

Lovely room in very nice house. Julie is really lovely & very welcoming. All facilities you could need and the house is extremely clean. Very reasonable price. Also close to some great bars and restaurants in West Derby village.

Only slight downside for me was accessibility. Not close to any public transport routes or shops so a car is a must. However, it doesn't claim to be. Would definitely stay again with a hire car next time.

Great value, super friendly host

Stayed with my girlfriend for 2 nights at Cateau Julie. In general, it was super fine. Was easy to get to the center taking only 1 bus (number 18). Julie was very sweet and friendly. This place is grete value for the price. Shower works fine, but a water pressure was weak. Heating and lights were working perfectly.
