Good location but in need of a deep clean

It was walking distance to city and the room was a decent size. Having codes and lockboxes to get in was very user friendly.

The whole place needs a long overdue deep clean. Heaters were full of dust, there was grime everywhere and the mattress was stained. Kitchen implements were old and minimal. The house was being used as a laundromat for the owners other properties so there was laundry on air dryers all over the sunroom

Penny Lane is in my heart 😄

Located in a lovely part of Liverpool near penny lane, Didn’t actually get to meet the host Carmel but we spoke on phone prior too stay and she made sure everything was in place for a pleasant stay & some handy travel advice on local journeys into town centre Room was lovely & shared bathroom was one of the nicest & cleanest I’ve ever used Would definitely stay again

Great room in a lovely area

Great spacious room on a quiet street, lots of tea bags, toiletries comfortable bed, Smart TV and a good shower. The owner Carmel is lovely and helpful and was very accommodating given how.last-minute the booking was. The rate is incredibly cheap for that area of town.. Plenty of space to park outside too.

Quiet suburban hideaway

15 minutes from airport for early morning flight, plenty of parking, use of shared kitchen, great quality bed and good shower in shared bathroom. Competitive pricing. Lovely cat onsite...I hope it was theirs!

Very Cosy Very Homely. Bed was very comfortable. Room was great. Just the right size . The host, Carmel was wonderful. As a returning guest she is so warm and friendly. The location is very convenient for buses around Liverpool. Just a 6 minute walk to the bus stop.Its a very quite area.

The house was conveniently located near my location. The area is filled with student housing.

The room was decorated in a black and white stripe theme, not really to my liking. Also the shared bathroom was an issue. I also had to ask for the wifi password and a towel!

Was nice to stay outside of the city centre in a quiet neighborhood. Small but comfortabele room, and a nice clean bathroom. Carmel is a lovely host. The centre is easily reached by a number of buses, takes about 20 to 30 mins.

Wonderful Wavertree - Sweet Dreams await.

Excellent location a stones throw from The Mystery (Wavertree park) and leisure centre. Easy walk to Allerton Road, Penny Lane and Smithdown Road. Excellent bus route to the city centre close buy. Array of bars, eateries, shops and facilities within walking distance. Ease of free on street parking. Quiet residential area yet close to amenities.

Value for money. But comes with a few caveats.

Lovely host. V clean place. Great value.

The concept of a “quiet house” was hammered home prior to and at the property via signs on walls. Felt OTT. As a result felt you couldn’t really relax for making any sound whatsoever. Bit uncomfortable. Gave feeling of you were a tolerated guest in someone’s house not a paying one. Bear in mind location. It’s out of town for city centre. But close to Penny Lane (for any Beatles fans).

Nothing; there's a house cat and I am allergic to cats but the kitchen was stocked with enough antihistamines to protect the massed bands of the Welsh Dragoon guards from sneezing in to their helmets

The room was clean and tidy. I had a kettle, tea, coffee and milk in the room. Plenty of wardrobes and drawers and a comfy bed. It was a quiet area and very easy to get to. Well linked to public transport.

Exactly what we were looking for, would return again

The host was very accommodating, flexible and laid back about us arriving late and leaving in the middle of the night for the airport. The shared bathroom was very clean. We didn't make use of the kitchen although it was offered to us. There was off road parking just outside

For the price paid we couldn't have asked for any more, so nothing to report back on.

In the room there is no space to stock the cloth, just one little drawer and a chair where you can put it. In the kitchen it's not easy to navigate (to find where are plates, etc) - I had to check everything there to find a pan and plate. Also, I wish it was more clean

Great location, delightful decor and a fantastic shower. Carmel thought of everything.

The property is ideally located for the bars, restaurants, takeaways and other outlets (including a Tesco Express) of Smithdown Road and Allerton as well as being on the doorstep of Wavertree Playground, with good public transport links to Sefton Park, Lark Lane and the city centre. It was clean, quiet and very tastefully furnished. I had a very pleasant and restful stay. I don't want to be too complimentary, though, in case it becomes so popular that there's no availability next time I'm looking to book a room in Liverpool!

I can't really think of anything I didn't like about the property.

Comfortable, clean and safe.

My son went for his Liverpool Game and stayed for the night. Carmela took really great care and made his stay very safe and comfortable. She even put some English gums in his room. He will definitely consider staying with her another time.
