We have stayed before. The room’s are motel style with own door. The size of room is modest with all amenities, cooker, fridge etc if you’re staying for a few days. Food in the pub was very good
The door to the room requires attention. Locking it was difficult. Grout in the shower could do with a clean and the plug in the sink was difficult to operate.

Lovely room! Warm, clean, well equipped, quiet sleep, easy check in/out. Great location on the river for walks. Ideal pub with a lovely beer garden & space next to the river serving great pub food with friendly staff & happy locals. Fantastic for the price!

Great welcoming staff, nice pub and location for Slimbridge wetland centre.
Quiet and pub served good food.
The was mold all in the shower which could be easily solved.
As it a twin self catering, I did expect a small table and 2 chairs but the was only 1 chair so where does the other person sit for breakfast?
Also the was a large mirror on the floor, presume to be hung up?
The front door is very very hard to open and needs adjusting.
Some painting to touch up would at the entrance would really smarten it up because essentially it was quite new and fresh.
Pillows were rock hard, bed rather too firm.
Wanted to say in person these things but pub staff said its not managed by them so sorry had to post but think you should know so it can be 5 stars then.
