Clean, newer hotel, I think I would return if traveling to Pula again.

Stayed Oct 4-7, Great views from our balcony, breakfast was delicious. The location is convenient to travel to old town ( arena area), we had a car, but there is a bus that runs regularly into the center of town, and the stop is 50m from the hotel. Staff are very helpful, Melissa at the front desk was pleasant, helpful and professional.

Not much going on in the evening, no restaurant at night, probably because of the time of year. It was very quiet, although my wife and I enjoyed that.

Top Hotel

Sehr vielseitiges Frühstück, jeden Tag mit anderen Leckereien. Zimmer in gepflegtem Top-Zustand, wenn man möchte, kommt jeden Tag der Zimmerservice. Unglaublich nettes, freundliches Personal. Tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Einrichtung noch neu, sauber und ordentlich. Liegt etwas abseits vom Ortskern.

Mir persönlich war das Bett zu weich, aber das ist ja für jeden anders. Mit Seife und Shampoo wird man regelrecht überschüttet - leider alles in kleinen Einzeltüten/Päckchen, was viel Müll macht. Die große, ungenutzte Betonfläche am Haus ist nicht sonderlich schön, böte z. B. Platz für einen Pool oder Garten (was dem Hotel sicher einen Sonderstatus brächte). Der Kern von Pula als Urlaubsort selber ist nicht schön, höchstens als Ausflugsziel.

Kleines aber feines Hotel. Frühstück, wie schon andere Urlauber beschrieben, fantastisch. Sehr sauber, jeden Tag frische Handtücher, obwohl sie nicht am Boden waren um ausgetauscht zu werden. Personal sehr freundlich. Restaurant, im daneben liegenden Campingplatz, und die Bar am Steg sehr zu empfehlen. Mit dem Bus ist die Stadt Pula in 15 Minuten erreichbar.

Obiekt położony z dala od zgiełku, 100 metrów do pętli autobusowej, 6 przystanków do centrum historycznego miasta. Z dwóch stron ulicy dostęp do zatoki. Nieopodal piękne zatoki krajobrazowe, niestety kamieniste. Widoki ujmujące. Pogoda murowana, właśnie wróciłam z koleżanką. Obsługa wyśmienita. Śniadanka pyszne. Sprzątanie pokoju codziennie, że zmianą ręczników. Polecam w 100 %. Wrócę tam napewno. Myślę. Że warto wynająć samochód, wokół jest wiele pięknych miejscowości wartych odwiedzenia.

Hotel Modo - like Pula itself - is a wonderful place to visit

Pula is a wonderful place to visit, the history quite fascinating, its Roman amphitheatre far more interesting and enjoyable to explore than the one in Rome. Hotel Modo was easy to find… ideally located overlooking a popular (and safe) beach, not to mention a large and well appointed camping site. Our welcome to the hotel was warm and friendly and staff attended promptly to every request and enquiry. Melissa in particular was a delight. Our room was just as described and beautifully presented; thoroughly cleaned and maintained each day. Breakfast was excellent. Onsite parking was safe and secure but readily accessible to guests. We left our car in the carpark and either walked to nearby locations or caught the local bus service… just 2€ to town, the bus stop only metres from the hotel and the service regular and convenient. A real bonus given how busy Pula gets and how hard it can be to find car parking there. One particularly good local restaurant - Pepas - is around 400m away in the camping ground. Highly recommended.

die Lage ist irgendwo im outback, der angepriesene Meerblick wird verstellt durch den Hotelparkplatz und eine Wasserschianlage überhaupt ist die Gegend wenig ansprechend,es gibt auch kein nennenswertes Lokal in der Nähe

Super vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel, lekker ontbijt met Kroatische specialiteiten, dichtbij bushalte, zeer hygiënisch.

Misschien bij het ontbijt de optie om zelf koffie te nemen. Nu moest je steeds vragen om een extra, maar dit was geen enkel probleem.

Hotel war gut, aber aufgrund der Umgebung bleibt es bei einem Kurzurlaub.

Das Hotel war sauber und die Unterkunft ordentlich, das Personal sehr freundlich. Vom Balkon gibt es einen schönen Blick auf die Bucht, der Meerblick wird allerdings durch den Wake Boarding "Park" etwas versperrt. Für Sportler, Abenteurer, Entdecker und Individualreisende kann ich das Hotel aufgrund der Hohlen, Klippen , der Naturbelassenheit und des klaren Wassers empfehlen, für Badenixen und für Strandrelax eher nicht, da es keine guten Einstiegsmöglichkeiten ins Meer gibt und an allen "Stränden" faustgroße Steine liegen.

Am Tag der Anreise hatten wir ein Frühstück, für das wir selbst verständlicherweise am Abreisetag bezahlten. Aber: Auf der Tafel draußen stand der Preis von 19 Euro, was schon nicht billig war, bezahlt haben wir dann 22 Euro pro Frühstück. Auf den Tafelpreis angesprochen meinte die Rezeptionistin , das dieser Preis schon seit 3! Jahren draußen stehen würde und nicht mehr gelte! Am Sonntag gabs ja noch jede Menge Auswahl an Gebäck, am Montag nur noch Weißbrot, von daher empfand ich diesen Preis als überzogen teuer!

Super lokacija, ob obali z odprtim pogledom na morje. Lahko greš do centra mesta peš ali z avtobusom, ki stoji minuto od hotela. Veliko parkirišče za zapornico. Pekarna ob hotelu. Sprehajalna peš pot Lungomare se začne preko ceste. Sobe so velike in udobne, vse je zelo čisto. Dvigalo. Vrhunski zajtrk.

Manjka držalo za brisače ob umivalniku, so samo luknjice v zidu. Cena je kar visoka.

This was disappointing

The room was clean. The view was good.

I was given a key card with no folder to indicate the room number. Traveling a fair bit it is not always that easy to recall day to day which room you are in. This was not my expectation of a 4-star hotel. The little sachets with shampoo, no conditioner, not body lotion are not environmentally friendly.

Mega Lage, freundliches Personal, sauber, Zimmer haben (je nach Kategorie) einen tollen Blick vom Balkon mit kleinem Tisch und Stühlen. Alles da, was man braucht…..

Da es gerade Nebensaison ist, hatte einiges in der Umgebung geschlossen, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Von dem Ort Pula sind wir eher etwas enttäuscht, aber auch das hat nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun und ist nur unsere Meinung.

... FALLS man etwas finden möchte: Ich hatte meinen persönlichen Kampf mit der Schiebebalkontür u musste das Personal mehrmals bemühen. Das Personal war immer gleich freundlich, stets zu Stelle u nie ungeduldig. Nur ich war ... kurz unentspannt ;)

Ми відвідували готель в кінці березня, це була подорож по Істрії. Літом там напевне гарно: є дві затоки поряд де можна відпочивати. Номери великі і чисті. Матраси трохи мʼякі для нас. Персонал відповідав на всі запити. До Пули на авто 5 хвилин. Також рекомендую заїхати на аеродром Medulin та замовити політ на літаку, щоб краще роздивитися узбережжя.

Excellent beach front small hotel with remarkable breakfast

The Hotel is right on the beach with amazing sea view from the room and only 10 min walk from the biggest shopping mall in Istria. City center is also easy to reach. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was exceptionally good (many thanks to the ladies who work there, they even prepared us breakfast to go, since we had a very early flight). The room is of a very good size and it is very comfortable (bed included) and with a big terrace.

Just a small remark - shower gel and shampoo could come in bigger packages since the small bags that you use now are difficult to open and there is not much in them.
