Great location but investment needed.

This hotel is pretty much the only choice if you want to stay on the island. The other property is associated. The staff were lovely and the buffet dinner and breakfast were fine. The hotels parking on the mainland is convenient and good value.

Being owned by the national park I suspect that the hotel struggles to get funding to invest. This is reflected in the rooms which are very dated. One simple thing - put proper shower head holding rails in the bath the loose hook means showering at 45 degrees :) the hotel is not cheap by Croatian standards and so the authority should invest in the property which has plenty of old,world charm but unfortunately not enough spent on up-keep. This is a shame as the location and staff are so lovely.

Beautiful nature and lots of history to explore

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the island offers many great experiences, the food is good and the rooms are big, although the furniture is dated the bed is good and we slept well. The hotel provides some beach towels as well. We enjoyed the peaceful evening on the terrace, the beautiful nature and hopping to town for a drink (you get a trip to the land by boat once per day). We’ll be returning for sure, to enjoy a bit more beach next time. Be sure to download and use the app, it’s very informative and helpful.

Oldie, but well located

Location is exeptional. In the center of an island - on the coast near boat, near infostation, near transportation vehicles station.

Hotel is old, non-renovated rooms bathrooms are too old. But everything is shown on the pictures, just have to be aware that those pretty rooms are in renovated part. The dinner is to expensive for what you get (buffet with 3 types of beyond average meals for 20€). Still, better to have a stay on the island than the coast, you have so much time to spend in sightseeing.

The room was big, clean with nice renewed furniture and great balcony.

Most of the hotel and services are stuck in another century. Food is at best as you can aspect at the student doorm, staff (with exception of waiters) are not interested, rude, not helpful. Reception desk is not welcoming. Room number is written on the piece of paper and room card is given to you with a staple. Dinner is from another century, can’t belive westeren turists can handle it. Please come across the boarder to see how it should be. Nature gave you amazing piece of land and you are just too lazy to keep up with it.

The location, island and nature are beautiful, waiters in the restaurant are very friendly.

as a hotel guest, I had to pay extra HRK 140 per day for two sunbeds. Too expensive, as a hotel guest you should have a deckchair, umbrella and small table for free. This is the minimum standard you should offer your guests. 3 power outlets, with one being for the fridge, the other one for the tv, and the third one in the bathroom, no place for phone charging. The food was very bad.

We enjoyed every precious moment. Stuff is kind, we felt like part of the family, beds are very comfortable, food is great, island is beautiful, it is like other dimension, peaceful, family-friendly.

The location is for 10, also breakfast at the hotel, we had a classic double room park view, and it was quite correct. the bed was brand new and the terrace spacious and large…

there was a lack of air conditioning in the room. dinner could have been better. not all staff are the kindest.
