Excellent location in Matera in a beautiful property. Staff was exceptional, they made sure we were comfortable and recommended great restaurants. The room was comfortable, modern, and very spacious.

This was perfect for our stay in Matera, the location was excellent and the property itself was also perfect The owners were so lovely & helpful prior to us arriving & during our stay, if we’d have needed them they were on hand Breakfast was served daily with a lovely selection of different dishes We’d definitely stay here again should we revisit, & most definitely recommend to friends

L'Artiere Dimore nei Sassi is a great spot to visit the beautiful Matera. Perfectly located in the historical city center, sill very well isolated. The room is a perfect mix of design and tradition. We have been spoiled by the owners who prepare delicious breakfast!

We arrived in Matera after spending five days in Positano, and I have to say that both Matera and L'Artiere Dimore nei Sassi were absolute highlights of my vacation in Italy. And that says a lot, because I am a very picky and demanding traveler. This family-owned hotel was amazing in every way. The owners were incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating with anything we needed. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and spread over two levels, which made it feel even more special. Everything was spotless and fully updated. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets were high quality, and even the pillows — something I usually struggle with in hotels — were excellent. The design of the room was beautiful, elegant, and chic. The bathroom was also a great size, with plenty of space for all my makeup and toiletries, which I really appreciated. Everything was impeccably clean. The location was perfect and easy to walk everywhere from. A huge plus was that the hotel is close to the main road, making taxi drop-off and pick-up incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with luggage. I could easily have stayed there for more than three nights. Highly recommended, and the price was very fair — especially compared to Positano.

we had 2 TV's on each level, but since it is like a loft, you can't watch 2 TVs at the same time. Headset needs to be provided or ability to connect with Bluetooth
