An absolute gem!!!
My daughter and I were so glad to have chosen this hotel. The room was magical, Matera is like going back to the past in the most sophisticated way. And the care of Cinzia, Nicola and one other girl was so important, they advised us so well about restaurants that definitely made a great difference on our staying.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The staff suggested off-site garage parking for our rental car, and a shuttle brought us into the sassi. Nicolas was an amazing host; he greeted us, carried our bags to the rooms and was available whenever we needed anything. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Easy access too, with a keypad & code to enter. Breakfast every morning was freshly prepared and delicious. Great coffee too! Nicoloas was also kind enough to book us reservations for dinner each night. The location couldn't have been better; right off the street and not too many stairs, if accessiblilty is an issue.
