Wonderfully relaxing when we weren't getting wiped out on the waves.

Perfect location as we were surfing, also ideal for the SW coastal walks with dog. Lovely place with just the right amount amenities on your doorstep. If you bring your shopping for the stay there's no reason to get back in the car until you leave.

Small issue with oven, but that was probably user error, but the weather was wonderful so we used the bbq anyway.

Excellent. You will not be dissapointed.

The apartment is spacious, clean and in an amazing location. Literally 2 minutes to the pub and less than 5 minutes to the beach. I can't emphasise how big the apartment is and eve with 5 people it doesn't feel cramped. The owners were super helpful. They also very kindly left free scones, homemade jam, cornish cream and milk in the fridge. It was all delicious.

The double bed was way too soft for me. I could feel the wooden slat through the mattress. Also, the curtains could've been darker as I was waking up around 7am every day due to the sun. Also, the TV had three remotes and was way too confusing to get working (and I pride myself on my IT literate). But these are minor concerns.

Absolute Gem of a Apartment Loved It

Love this apartment it has literally everything you need in there from cooking implements, pots/pans, dishwasher, washing machine, highchair, playstation 3 and games, cds, towels (hand/bath and tea towels), plenty of coat hangers and even a vacuum i could go on but i wont, it is so comfortable and welcoming. When we arrived the owner had left some milk, scones, jam and clotted cream, there was already tea, coffee and sugar there. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach, the children's playground is even less of a walk, the local pub is over the road, the entrance and outside area is on the otherside of the pub, so I would imagine you wouldn't hear to much noise from it, the local shop which is well stocked was a 5 minute walk. You also have 1 parking space allocated to the apartment which is a massive bonus especially summertime. There is a lovely little garden with the apartment. I would recommend this apartment, we will certainly look at booking this apartment again if we want to stay in this area and the bonus is it is dog friendly. Please note there are approx 6 steps down the the apartment.

There was nothing we didn't like in this apartment, if I was to name something, it would be the height of the fence in the garden if you have got kids/dog. The garden is raised from the road by way of a wall which brings it level with the garden then there is a low fence to keep kids and dogs in. We were ok as we had a 10 year old staffy with arthritis with us so it wasn't a problem, we just kept an eye on him.

Great spot for coastal walks and surfing on the beach

Excellent location close to the beach. Very clean with welcome plate of scones. The property had everything we needed for cooking and the starter pack of cleaning items was very handy. Great to have the PlayStation for entertainment in the evenings, our family particularly enjoyed the Buzz quiz! The Blue bar is great for watching the sunset over the beach and the Unicorn does a good Sunday lunch. General store and fish and chip shop a short walk away.

We couldn't get the outside tap/shower head to work but this had no effect on the enjoyment of our stay.

Great place so close to the beach.

Love the location to the beach, the kitchen is really well resourced and flat is really clean. We really enjoyed our stay again this year.

The steps leading down to the flat could do with a handrail. Tv channels are a little sparse and curtains are really light in the mornings.

The musty smell was constantly felt in the apartment , the ceiling leaked to the point that the water was dripping , there was no internet access for the entire stay

enjoyed our week despite some issues. feel property is more suitable for younger people and families

loved the space, cleanliness, well appointed kitchen, communication with owners and location.

being retired couple found steps down to property difficult - no handrail and uneven height of steps making it disconcerting to use. sofa ok but only one of us could use footstool to stretch out. Being old, both found bed too hard. shower functional but too trickely to stand underneath so had to hand hold. TV kept losing signal so ended up watching on iPad using bbc iplayer which couldn’t access on tv.

Lovely apartment in a beautiful place.

Every home comfort you could want. Little touches like toys , games, puzzles, paint brushes and watercolours, stereo with cds, books, all there if you didnt want to leave the apartment. Even had a travel cot, highchair,changing mat and child lock on one of the cupboards. The milk and cream tea waiting for is when we arrived was the icing on the cake. The apartment is opposite a childs play area, ideal for older kids to enjoy whilst still being within eyesight. The beach and two bars so close is also a bonus.

If i had to find a negative it would be the bathroom needs a bit of tlc and the shower isnt as powerful as im used to.

Overall, very pleased with our stay, had a great time

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the apartment and how well equipped it was with plates, cutlery, household items etc. Bedrooms were very nice and tidy and also very happy with the amount of storage space.

The rear sliding door was stiff to open and the handle was loose making it harder to close and lock, heated towel rail in bathroom was intermittent and kept turning itself on and off due to broken switch, didn’t use the oven because the door wouldn’t close properly. None of these affected our stay massively but just a heads up for future

A pleasant, well- equipped and very comfortable place to stay

The location was great- very close to the beach. It was clean, well equipped ( but needs some more egg cups!) Clear instructions before hand and Will kindly sent a photo when I explained that one of the party is elderly and steps can sometimes be problematic. But all was well .

A few of the lights didn’t work - but it didn’t spoil anything.

Excellent location

Perfect for the beach and park across the road for the kids. With nice bar and other shops that are needed for you stay all within 1- 5min walk. Also At top pizza is worth a visit with excellent pizzas and views

Apartment could do with a little bit of an update . And could also benefit from a more powerful shower. Thicker curtains in the bedrooms as it's like waking up with them open as they let so much light through them. And a long mirror for dressing

Lovely location

Well equipped. Very clean. Brilliant location right on the beach, brilliant sunsets and beautiful scenery. We visited lots of locations from here which are easily accessible. The apartment has everything you need and more . Host is easy to get hold of if you have any queries. He also provides extras such as teas coffee sugar and milk and some scones jam and delicious cream which we were grateful for. Toiletries, towels , iron and ironing board and cleaning essentials provided as well .some toys for kids and books and music for adults. A great base for the beach and if you love some walks with great views. Few Steps down to property which is ok but you have to be very careful at night when it’s dark. Would stay again

Just the steps in the dark (after pub😂) I found bed bit hard for me but ok for partner also had to use eye mask as it was light early in room and I prefer it dark but overall slept well .

Loverly apartment and very quiet at night

Excellent location to the beach and nice walks along cliff tops spotted seals in the sea. Children liked playing in the park which was just outside apartment so could keep an eye on them.

Had to travel by bus on days out very expensive and you needed two or three buses to get into Newquay or St Ives

Well appointed apartment in a super location- we really enjoyed our stay at Just Beachy.

Excellent location for the beach and walking the south west coast path. Well equipped accommodation with everything we needed for a week’s family holiday. Comfortable beds and lovely sea views from the garden.

Crockery, cutlery, glasses and oven trays were dirty and needed cleaning on arrival. A dishwasher would be a sensible addition to ensure a hygienic clean of these items.

Great apartment for family with young children

Everything! It was awesome! Great location, easy to find, lovely and quiet but close to loads of great beaches, walks and places to eat/drink. It was fantastic to have a parking space right outside the apartment. We found it clean, tidy and comfortable. Perfect for small children - travel cot and highchair were provided, as well as cups, plates, spoons and a non-slip bath mat! My toddler was delighted to find a big bag of toys there too which was a lovely surprise! The garden is lovely and really good to have a BBQ too. The apartment heated up quickly, although the floor was chilly underfoot so we'd recommend to pack some slippers or flip flops! The only slight downside is that the bathroom could do with an update as the shower is really low pressure, but it's clean and functional so no problem for a weeks holiday. We can't wait to book again! 😍

Fantastic location but slightly over priced

Location was excellent, right on the beach front and within visable distance of the local park which was great at night time for our children

Shower hose broken and needs upgrading, property wasnt cleaned on arrival so had to wait around till 7pm before we could check in ( having said that owner did refund 1st nights stay as a gesture of good will ). Oven door doesnt shut properly. Triple bunk beds are very creaky should only really be used as a double bed. In general needs upgrading slightly to justify the prices charged per night

Exceptional

Location was fantastic just few steps from the beach. Sun sets are amazing! Check in explained and easy to follow. Owner responded to every enquiry very fast and delt with everything in very professional manner. Local shop is 1 min away with all basic you will need. The fish and chip shop was fenomenal and defenitly worth trying mind its usually around 30 min of waiting time.

Die Unterkunft hat eine Terrasse bzw. Gartenstück mit Blick aufs Meer. Witterungsbedingt konnten wir das nicht nutzen, es ist dennoch hervorzuheben. Die Küchen-Wohnraum-Kombination ist ansprechend, geräumig und hat große Fenster. Es lässt sich dort gut aufhalten. Bis zur Küste sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß.

Es war regnerisch und teilweise stürmisch und im Wohnzimmer ließ sich nur ein Heizkörper anstellen, sodass es anfangs recht kühl war. Außerdem gab es die ersten zwei Tage Probleme mit dem heißen Wasser. Der Badheizkörper ist nicht nutzbar, das Fehlen von Heizungen erschwert das Trocknen von Handtüchern bei solcher Witterung. Ein Tisch vor der Couch wäre ganz schön gewesen, es gab einen Hocker und einen Sitzsack.
