Great escape from the day to day and back to basics

The huts are remote, private and quiet. We loved staying here, watching the sheep graze in the morning, with a cup of tea and watching the sun come up. You are going back to the basics with an outdoor (covered) shower which was lovely and warm, a compostable toilet, which was an interesting experience, but it has everything you need and it is fit for the type of stay. The two huts are lovely, well insulated and there are some charging ports for your phones in the main hut, which meant I couldn’t be on my phone before bed - the digital detox I needed! Our dog had plenty of secure space to run around. The hot tub was very easy to prepare too with clear instructions and plenty of logs. We both felt very tranquil our whole stay and we got the rest and headspace we needed. The location is fantastic for access to many Cornish beaches including our favourite - gwithian not more than 20 mins drive. Cornwall gold 1 min down the road does excellent breakfast! We’d love to come back here again.
The shower could have done with sweeping before we arrived but other than that nothing to note

Location was good for what we needed, liked the bbq and the outdoor area and the huts were very quirky. We met the male host who was very nice and showed us everything we needed to know. We liked the outdoorsy ‘glamping’ feel.
Very dirty fridge. I know it is an outdoorsy stay but I think the huts could have been a lot cleaner including the fridge and dishes. I think what we paid was quite overpriced for what we got.
I also think it should state somewhere in the description that there’s no electric, that there’s a bit of a walk to get from the car to the huts and that the lane leading there is very bumpy and potholey.
