Well equipped clean property in a wonderful location overlooking the marina.

The marina’s only short walk away from centre of Bowness. The property is exceptionally well maintained and very clean, all accurately described. Would love to stay again.

Didn’t want to leave!

The boathouse was amazing . Everything we expected and more what a stunning hidden little gem. The view from the balcony was amazing also , overlooking the Mariner , a couple of resident swans came directly to us every morning to be feed 😊The owner went above and beyond whilst we were there too looking after us Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was lovely and clean. Views from the balcony was spectacular. Lovely and quiet for a relaxing break. Short walk to all amenities if you don't want to drive. All in all was exceptional.

Perfectly relaxing

A perfect location for a restful break. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the hosts provided everything you needed to make your stay relaxing. A little hidden gem on the marina that we didn’t know existed.

Fantastic apartment in lovely location

The location was excellent. Lovely and clean property that had everything we needed.

On the first night we had no neighbours and it was lovely and quiet and relaxing. Someone stayed next door the second night and there was quite a lot of noise. Not the hosts fault at all but just was nicer the first night.

Amazing location.

This place is amazing , the apartment itself has everything you need, including " otter cam," which was great even though we missed the otter :) but it's the location and the amazing view that makes it special , even in February I sat outside wrapped up and in the morning were visted by swans and their cignet. Bowness is about a 20-minute walk away and there is a lovely restaurant on the marina . Would most definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay and would have liked to stay longer

We loved the position on the lake. Sitting on the veranda watching the swans, ducks and boats was delightful. Unfortunately we didn’t see the otter or the kingfisher.

It was our first time visiting the Lake district and we'll definitely be back!

The location was perfect! Very peaceful with a beautiful view from the balcony over the harbour and out across the lake. Then just 15 minutes walk away was Lake Winderemere and the town of Bowness with lots of choice of restaurants, bars and shops. We hardly used the car as once you walked to Bowness everything you needed was there including access to all the boats to neighbouring towns, villages and attractions. Cathy was really helpful and sent us clear directions, as well as restaurant recommendations for my partners birthday. The boathouse was immaculately clean, with everything we needed.

Great place for a couple to have a relaxing holiday by the lake.

Lovely comfortable, clean and well thought out apartment. The kitchen has everything you need and was very clean. Very good range of kitchen equipment, cutlery, and had the little things that sometimes are forgotten about, such as salt, pepper, foil, etc. The chocolates and milk in the fridge were unexpected welcome extras. The balcony has a great view of the marina entrance and a lovely place to sit watching the boats go by, with the chance of spotting the local kingfisher, cormorant and ducks.

Noises from the neighbouring properties are easily heard through the walls, but that is a minor issue.

Great place generally but could but not the comfiest

The view out of floor to ceiling windows takes your breath away. Had absolutely everything you need, nice and modern, spotlessly clean too. Really good for spotting wildlife. we saw a variety of ducks, lots of different, birds including cormorants diving for food outside the balcony. we were lucky enough to see the kingfisher and also got a few glimpses of the otter

I am a big guy and the couches were not very comfortable at all. As the weather was bad (storms Dudley and Eunice) we stayed in a few nights and just couldn’t get comfortable. Found it hard to sit on the toilet as it was very cramp too. I feel some of the space in the massive living area/kitchen could have been rethought when designed and added to bedroom and bathroom? Just a thought 💭
