Great property good location would recommend

The property was clean, really comfortable and bigger than expected. Having a FULLY equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. Also little welcome touches were a great surprise.

Had to buy our own loo roll as there was none in the property when we arrived. Also having 6 properties full wheelie bins in our garden on a really hot week wasn't great

The house was lovely and warm on arrival, spotless and well equipped.The welcome pack was a lovely bonus.The hosts were very responsive when there were slight issues with accessing the keys.

A very nice, cosy cottage!

This was a very comfortable and cosy cottage. It was close to the amenities and there was a very nice welcome pack. Would definitely stay again.

The key safe was hard to open/close. The kitchen wasn't as well stocked as it could have been for cooking. The upstairs was only accessible by a narrow semi-spiral staircase which took some days to get used to! The cottage is a converted one storey chapel so putting in proper stairs would have greatly reduced the space. The stairwell might not be suitable for some children as well as adults with mobility issues.

Relaxing and pleasant stay.

This is an excellent property for up to 4 persons. Clean and comfortable with all the facilities necessary for our stay. the ' Welcome pack" was most appreciated. It is in a good location within a pleasant Lakes town with good access to the Lake District.

Accessing the television could have been easier and the administration of the payment for the cottage could have been much better by Cottages.com. The communication with cottages.com re the payment was the only negative in an otherwise good holiday.

Great location in Cockermouth . Aldi just round the corner. All mod cons . Night lights came in handy. shower was great . Fab break

The bed was too soft for me but that a personal preference. My husband kept hitting his head on the cooker hood when it was open as its quite low

Superb

The location is great - Cockermouth is an excellent place to reach the western Lake District, without having to deal with the crowds around the busier towns like Ambleside and Keswick. The cottage is an easy walk from the main street and several restaurants/pubs. The cottage was very, very clean, well-equipped for a small holiday cottage, and very comfortable. We definitely plan to return for a longer stay.
