Il filo di Arianna, ad un passo da tutto

L’appartamento era pulitissimo e aveva tutto l’essenziale. Il proprietario e’ stato gentilissimo dal primo momento. Anche la location era ottima, vicina ai maggiori punti di interesse.

Posizione comoda per raggiungere a piedi Ortigia. Appartamento grande con tutti i comfort. L’host super disponibile per ogni domanda.

Peccato che la zona giorno pranzo-cucina non è climatizzata.

Very spacious, good layout, great bathroom and A/C . Also excellent location to Ortigia and I was always able to find free parking nearby on the street.

The main issue we had with the property was large urine stains on the mattress in one of the bedrooms. The mattress pad had also not been cleaned. The other bed was perfect. The host was very responsive and apologetic and ordered a new pad to put on top but we had to flip the Mattress and sleep from the bottom spring side for 2 of the 3 nights of our stay which was not comfortable. Also the location street side made it quite noisy in the front bedroom from early in the morning until quite late in the evening.

I won't repeat anything about the amenities and the host, it's perfect and exactly how the other reviewers described. Unfortunately everything pales out to the noise in the main bedroom.

The main bedroom has widow(clasic not doubled - so all the noise is exactly the same when it's closed as when it's opened) directly to a street with a lot of traffic, even late at night. We were not able to sleep at all in the first night and in the second night we had to get earplugs (an improvement but still didn't rest ok since we're not used to them)
