Cassis centre- Entre Falaise et Port

Great location for the centre of the town and harbour only a 5 or 6 minute stroll down the hill. Very clean apartment with kitchen and bathroom essentials available for guest use. The balcony was a great bonus (two photos attached of the view) although too hot for us to enjoy in the high temperatures during the visit. The bedrooms and living room had fans. A comfortable flat for the two of us for our short visit.

A couple of things to note for information to future guests: Access only via stairs Lack of aircon in the hot summer should be considered For the 500 euro deposit (which seemed excessive) we asked to pay this in GBP and this was accepted. The deposit was duly returned on departure. As noted in other reviews there is limited wardrobe space - only half of one available in one room. We used the second bedroom bed for our clothes. So there may be limitation on space if more than two guests using more than one bedroom. The 13 euro charge per person for towels and bed linen. Given the price I would expect these to be included.

Very difficult to find, but once we were there it was wonderful.

Location is good, parking for the car is nearby.

I am not sure that I could recommend this appartement. After booking it I received a message from the owner, if I needed to rent bedding clothes and towels. The price was 10 euro for person. So I had additional costs. After negotiations I was proposed a discount. While checking in owner’s representative requested for the deposit 300 euro. We had no cash so the owner’s representative took my ID until we checked out. I was confused by both cases! But the owner suggested that it is usual regulation. I didn’t discussed this with owners because l avoided stressful situations but I hadn’t ever met such cases before. In addition I’d like to mention that the appartement was not clean: the floor was dirty, dishes was clean but was not fresh like they were washed without washing liquid, even the dish-cloth was not fresh.
