The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the city center and other places worth visiting. Breakfast was decent, and the staff was very responsive. The room was spacious, with a clean bathroom and extra amenities, such as the option to sit at a table on the upper-floor terrace.
As is often the case with renovated historic buildings, a faint "old building" smell can linger. It wasn't bothersome, though it likely could have been avoided. The parking space is rather difficult to access, especially for larger vehicles; this could easily be improved by adjusting the curb corners or trimming the hedge.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We needed to leave our luggage for several hours on the day we were checking out, which they happily accommodated.
The presumably ’Marrakesh’ themed decorations are somewhat bemusing!
The wall between our room and the next was paper thin, and one could easily hear conversation, but fortunately the occupants were quiet after a while.

Interesting decor. Staff helpful.
Bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned properly, smelled of urine. We thought it was the drains, but ended up cleaning it ourselves. (as it was the middle of the night).
Once clean, no more smell.
