The holiday houses Ibiscus is located in Letojanni, in the old fishermen's village near Taormina (5km) on the Sicilian Ionian Coast.
The apartements ,Mimosa (4people each) is located in the town centre of the old fishermen village, only 30m from the seaside.
(second floor), is very light and have a spacious air-conditioned entry-sitting area with two single sofa beds, satellite tv, equipped kitchenette with four-flame stove, fridge, small freezer and washing machine,iron and ironing board and ombrella for the beach, an air-conditioned double bedroom, and bathroom with shower. . balcony overlooking the centre of the town and equipped with table and chairs.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, so dass man sich prima selber verpflegen kann. Auch Handtücher, Fön etc., alles ist da!
Die Vermieterin, Carmen, ist sehr nett, kümmert sich und gibt einem wirklich das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein!
Die Lage ist prima, in der Nähe des Strandes, schnell im Zentrum, in der Nähe sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten....
Wir würden wiederkommen!

Loved the location - really felt like part of the village with all the street theatre of the vendors and local people - very fun and colourful! Yes, you really do need some beach shoes to make the swimming easier, but it's a beautiful beach and there is a big range of eateries, gelato bars and a very good butcher nearby. Car parking is easy enough and having the bus to Taormina right at your front door was also convenient. Carmen was very helpful and charming. We hope to return to Sicily and the Hibiscus apartment one day. Meantime, thank you! Michele and Fred.

Die Wohnung und der Preis sind in Ordnung, wir haben zu dritt zwei Wochen in Letojanni gewohnt. Die Sauberkeit ist gut, es fehlt ein bisschen an der Küchenausstattung. Dafür gibt es eine Waschmaschine. Eigentlich ist die Wohnung für zwei Leute optimal. Leider ist es sehr laut, so dass man trotz geschlossenen Fenstern den nahen Zug, die Mopeds auf der Via Vittorio Emmanuel hört und auch die Autobahn. Dazu kommen die Gemüsebauern, die laut durch ihre Megafone brüllen, wenn sie Obst verkaufen wollen. Das hat uns doch sehr beeinträchtigt und den Erholeffekt gemindert. Die Vermieterin Carmen ist in Ordnung und kümmert sich, wenn es Probleme gibt. Der nahe Strand ist sehr kieselig, kleine Kinder können im Meer nicht baden, es geht gleich tief hinein. Die beste Pizza gibt es im Carpe Diem, die Blaue Grotte in Taormina bietet Meeresfrüchte und beste Nudeln mit Muscheln in frischen Tomaten. Gut ist die Verbindung mit dem Linienbus nach Taormina, der Bus hält gegenüber der Ferienwohnung.

We rented two of Carmens apartments for a week in May. The apartments were exactly as described, with all nessesaties for a comfortable stay. One minute walk to the beach and a bus stop practicaly right outside that brings you directly to Taormina in about 10 minutes. There was also a great supermarket just up the street that sold beautiful fresh bread, cheese and veg. I would highly recommend these apartments to friends and hope to return again one day.
