Unique style of the rooms it feels more like Tuscan home than a hotel chain but with the convenience of excellent hospitality. Rustic interiors yet modern bathroom fittings and bed quality was excellent particularly the large size

There was no full length mirror in the room for dressing, there was space in the wardrobe area for one which would have been useful, and no option for room service but actually the pizzeria across the road beats any tray charge hotel late night dinner.

I didn’t realise the sink would be in the main room and I would prefer it to be separate. However, it was all still lovely. I would stay again but would look for a room with a completely separate bathroom.

Beautiful room. Very romantic. Lovely location for shopping, exploring and experiencing Florence.

The property was everything and more than we expected.

Excellent location and the room was so clean and tidy together with daily cleaning service. Beautiful art deco design throughout the building and very good continental buffet breakfast with lovely coffee made to your liking. We had a five night stay and enjoyed every moment of it. Close to every thing and many enjoyable walks can be had during your stay. Restaurants in abundance. All the staff were so kind and helpful and we also were given the name of an excellent currency exchange operator that turned out to be absolutely excellent.

The location was perfect for us, away from crowds but within a 5 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and 10 minutes to the centre and galleries etc. We stayed in a King room...Probably the nicest room we've ever stayed in. Roll top bath, huge and incredibly comfortable bed and big windows that open onto the street. Cool, stylish and authentic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and care.

I had to make a last minute pivot and find lodging for my elderly parents b/c my son was sick and my father is immune compromised. I made the reservation the same day my parents checked-in and the staff was amazing. They were so responsive, helpful, and kind. They arranged a taxi for my parents and helped them with their bags. The location was ideal for us.

This is for Florence in general, buildings and roads are not made for the elderly. My parents are mobile, but there are a lot of stairs and a tiny elevator for two 86yo people.

Mostly good but one silly thing spoiled an otherwise lovely stay.

Very friendly staff, brilliant location on definitely the best side of the river, cool decor.

Unfortunately our stay wasn't as good as it could have been for one silly reason and that is because our room (22) was situated so close to the breakfast area that each morning we were woken at 6:45am by the staff setting up for breakfast. This set up would last an hour and made me a bit grumpy. It would be better to set up the evening before. I do appreciate it's a small hotel but this made me quite tired for the days I was visiting Florence which was a shame.

Loved the staff. Alberto at the front desk is an absolute star. Full of life and smiles-he gave us great tips and suggestions. The breakfast was great! I love the fruit available all day and pastry and cookies. Very generous.

Staff treated me like family.

Unfortunately I arrived extremely unwell to the hotel. Immediately the staff catered for our every need. I didn't have any energy and they managed to give us our room four hours earlier which I desperately needed in order to be able to rest as I had a high fever. They gave us breakfast when we arrived even though we were hours earlier than expected. They allowed me to rest in the lounge untill the room was ready. Every staff member that passed by would check up on me to see if I needed anything. Although my entire stay in Florence ended up being in the hotel due to my sickness, it was worth every penny spent. They even allowed a late check out by an additional 4 hours so that I wouldnt have to roam the streets with fever until our train was set to depart. We originally chose this building for its beautiful interiors but honestly besides that the highlight was the truly helpful and kind staff we found throughout our stay. 10/10 service.

Stunning super cool Palazzo

Our room was absolutely stunning, we just loved the design of the whole place. We always had the most kind and helpful - shout out to Antonio for the restaurant reservations, he is so lovely! Really centrally located and such an oasis of calm after all the sightseeing. Breakfast great with all you could need. Would highly recommend the super cool hotel.

Really beautiful hotel for a very reasonable price. The staff are exceptionally helpful – nothing is too much trouble. Also very secure with multiple coded gates. The room I had was beautiful – very spacious, beautiful bath and well decorated.

The road outside is a bit noisy so bring earplugs. The breakfast is just a cold buffet which is nice, but no cooked options.

Amazing staff amazing location and fabulous rooms but the best was the all day cakes/fruit and coffee/tea free for guests. Super soft towels extra comfy bed and we love the mix of modern furniture with the old.Very well run establishment they just get how to treat their guest right we would highly recommend. Definitely worth staying in Oltrarno Splendid it was perfection
