Loved the artsy and funky decor and spacious rooms. Felt very secure. Breakfast was delicious, no hot egg options but otherwise amazing. Staff were very kind and helpful and friendly/conversational, helped with a dinner reservation and coordinating a taxi. We loved being across the river from the busier part of Florence, but everything was still easily walkable.
This is in a shared building as part of the top floor and not a free-standing hotel, which made initial entry a bit confusing. Air conditioning was helpful but not fully effective on the hottest days, a fan was provided. Bed was very firm, which seems to be the standard around Italy.

This is a standout location. Rooms are in what was a palace that has been converted. Can not recommend highly enough. We loved it.
