Nice place, great views & pleasant host but if you have dust allergies/asthma you may have issues.

nice space for 2 people, great views of the coast. 5 min drive from Doolin. Very comfy bed and well stocked kitchen (with utensils).

It was incredibly dusty and I have dust allergies. I suffered constant sneezing and weeping eyes until we hoovered the floors. I immediately stopped sneezing. Other than that no complaints this place was great.

This location is the absolute best in and around Doolin because It is up the hill from Doolin (about 1 mile) and has a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean not afforded by most of the properties in Doolin. It is also close to the start of the Cliffs of Moher Walking Trail. Many other daytrips are convenient from here.

Lovely apartment with great views for romantic evening dinners!

A lovely apartment, set on the side of the hill overlooking Doolin Bay. Busy road but no noise in apartment. Facilities were good, clean and modern. Bonus is free Netflix on a rainy day!

Nothing really about place itself but just don't bank on eating out in Doolin every night - limited options and a drive down the hill. No shops or supermarkets in Doolin or nearby - stock up before you arrive.

The location was ideal as a base for visiting The Burren. Breakfasting with views of the Aran Isles was a real treat.

Hosts were very accommodating in allowing us to extend our stay by one night.

The cutest, cleanest little crib. Location was brilliant. Close to cliffs of mohar, supermarket and pub. We were treated with perfect sunny weather. Loved staying here and will recommend to our fellow kiwis in Aorteroa, NZ.

Among the best holiday accommodation I’ve been to

The facilities were amazing. Liz is a very generous host. There was tea and coffee and biscuits and salt and pepper and milk in the pantry/fridge. The facilities TV were amazing it had Netflix. The fire was class! I really enjoyed using the fire place. The decor was beautiful and everything was very comfortable. The view of the sea is stunning.

We received really good information in advance and were warmly welcomed to the apartment. Everything was as advertised and just what we needed. The apartment is very comfortable and in a superb location - I'm sure the sunsets would have been amazing if the weather had been different!

Gorgeous view from your bedroom and dining room window. A lovely modern flat screen TV if you just fancied chilling in the evenings. Doolin was a bit of a trek on foot (especially coming home up the hill) but 5 minutes drive. There are taxi contacts so my advice would be to book in advance! The apartment property itself was modern and spotless and filled with utensils and appliances (plus a nice pod coffee machine). The host and her husband were also really friendly and couldn't help you enough. And all for a great price despite booking so close to the bank holiday we stayed during. Would defo stay again and I highly recommend it for couples (and their dog!)

Exceptional

This was our second time at Zepher Apartment and it was as superb as we remembered. Very clean and comfortable and lots of nice extra touches, for example, reflective gear for walking at night, coffee and tea available and milk in the fridge on arrival. The hill from the town is steep but the reward is the spectacular view from the property. Liz is a very friendly host who ensures you enjoy your stay. Our doggie loves it too! So lovely that dogs are welcome. Can't wait to return.

Our main problem was we didn't want to leave! However, if I was to recommend anything, maybe an actual washing line as well as the drying rack, as this can get blown over in the wind. Not a big deal though!

It was the best value for money in the area. The host was very helpful and accommodating. Very spacious for two people. Literally no complaints and everything we expected to be there or done was taken care of. View from the bedroom were stunning.

As I said no complaints. Just some minor points of improvement for the host. If at all possible signpost Zepher apartment from the apartment next door as I accidentally approached the apartments from the wrong direction and ended up entering the wrong drive. Google Maps also indicates that you should enter the wrong drive so if that could be fixed somehow then do. Can't stress enough that I am splitting hairs though.

Best vacation stay we have had in Ireland!

The location is perfect for access to Doolin (walking =15-20 minutes/driving=5 minutes) and all other areas in this part of County Clare including the Cliffs of Moher, walking trails, the Aran Islands and other small nearby cities like Ennis. The "local" road down to Doolin is directly across the street from the Zepher Apartment. It is downhill going into Doolin and uphill (steep) returning. The apartment has a gorgeous view of the North Atlantic seacoast because it is perched on the hill above Doolin and the Aran Island Ferry Dock. (That is 2km from Doolin itself). The apartment had absolutely everything we needed, i.e. microwave, refrigerator, TV (w/Netflix), breakfast area that offers a stunning view of the North Atlantic, a huge king size bed with a warm duvet, washer/dryer. We took a CityLink bus from Dublin airport to Galway where we picked up a rental car from Budget in Eyre Square (a 5 minute walk from the bus station). We then drove down to the Zepher Apartment. If you don't want/need to have a car, there is also a local bus---Bus Eirann---that leaves from the bus station and goes to the Cliffs of Moher that would drop you---on request---at the Doonagore Crossing---which is right in front of the apartment!! You can pre-book these buses on-line; just a heads up---Bus Eirann only takes cash IF you didn't pre-book. We pre-booked the CityLink from the airport and back so it wasn't an issue. We walked to the Cliffs of Moher from the Doolin Cliffs of Moher Walking Trail trailhead---then---decided to take the bus back---which was about 3 euro cash per person. Again---by request---the bus will drop you at the Doonagore Crossing---right in front of the Zepher. BTW---the trailhead is clearly marked about 3/4 of the way down the "local" road into Doolin from the Zepher. Again, very convenient. Liz is a great host! Contact was always quick and helpful.

I really can't think of one thing we didn't like about the Zepher Apartment.

Excellent Cleaniness, everything you need in the apartment was thought for, homely stay. Well equipped and managed apartment. Very near beaches, so quite good location. Very spacious and infact better than most hotel stays in neighbouring areas.

Quite simply, if you also have the good fortune to get the weather to enjoy the beautiful view over Doolin and out to Inis Oirr, you will feel like you have landed in heaven! We can't wait to return.

Gorgeous Apartment

I will definitely be staying here again! The apartment is spotless, beautifully designed and has amazing views across to the Aran islands. We had our puppy with us and there was a lovely enclosed patio and garden where he could run around and we felt very comfortable letting him off. Liz was very prompt sending on all necessary information. I’d 1000% recommend!!
