Happy i chose the Villa Palma

The private room #5 of the main building is a great little space with its own mini garden...really enjoyed that thank you All the facilities you would need to make it a great stay Owner very friendly and helpful

Very small thing really, just need to use a little ant powder between the decking and the garden door Parking...no fault of the owner...but very difficult to find nearby

Large clean rooms in a good location for accessing the old town

The rooms were large and very clean. The accommodation was only a 10-15 minute walk to the old town and in a quiet residential location. We will definitely stay again when in Marbella for our next golf trip. See you in October 2036.

Our stay at Villa Palma

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by a friendly lady who showed us the shared areas. It was a great place to relax for the day, with both small and large tables outside, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee machine, sandwich maker, toaster, kettle, and more. When she took us to our room, we saw that it already included many amenities, such as a small kitchenette, a large TV, and a private bathroom. We also had our own table just outside the apartment. The location was perfect — about a 10–15 minute walk to the beach and around 10 minutes to Marbella’s old town. There was a small supermarket just two minutes away on foot. Free parking is available nearby, either right in front of the property or a bit further down the street. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marbella’s old town.

The only downside was the steep uphill walk back to the apartment. However, a taxi ride costs only around €7 to €8.

Shocking!

I booked a room for two people and they only gave us one key between two. I had been calling and calling for hours to get a spare key. Nobody answered. I was treated by 3 members of staff super poorly. Screaming at me, calling me a liar and say they will phone police on me. As apposed to just allowing me to get into the room, they caused me so much stress and anxiety. I was told to get my stuff and leave. It’s very dated, old and with the key system it doesn’t work form.

Relaxing, economical, almost like being at home, come and go as you please!

I loved the quirkiness of the villa, family treasures and photos in the lounge and modern facilities in the bedrooms. I enjoyed sitting in the patio under the huge lemon tree. The location was good for me as it is in the same street as friends I was visiting. Sebastian, the owner, speaks excellent English and was very easy to talk to. I suggested a couple of improvements for when older guests like myself visit and he agreed and said he had taken note. There is a kitchen and all electric equipment at one’s disposal plus a large dining table although I imagine one could eat in one’s room or outside - there were a two or three places to relax al fresco.

Nothing to dislike! The only thing I would have liked was a comfortable chair. There was a chair, hard plastic.

Great villa near the center

We were staying at a separate small villa in the cosy yard - we really liked it. There was a bit of noice from the street during the night but overall it was a great stay. Close to the city center (15 min walk). There was free parking option on the street around. Very helpful host and you also have a shared kitchen with coffee machine and water dispenser.

Solo motorcycle traveller

Friendly welcome, let me park motorcycle in garden, just needed to remove panniers to fit through gate etc (might struggle if really big bike, but tiger 800 was no problem). Good facilities in communal area

Nice stay in Marbella, but a few things to improve.

We were just there for a night. The place was good for the money we paid. - Spotless, clean. - Nice and warm environment with great attention to details. - The staff was really nice and helpful. - Location is good, the town is easily accessible by walk. - Private terrace available to us, really nice. - Good for the price we paid and the price range of Marbella city.

We slept in something that looked like a separate "guest room", built in the garden of the Villa. We struggled to sleep, even with earplugs on. The structure seems to be a prefabricated one, there is no insulation, at all, from sounds coming from the streets. It's such a nice structure, but definitely the windows/doors in general should be improved, to have a better sound insulation. Great idea to make good use of the outside space of the Villa, but there is room for improvement.

Our one night stopover

We only had the chance to stay one night on a stop over on our walking holiday. Very helpful and friendly host who met us and showed us around. Fantastic, comfortable and clean accommodation which was beautifully decorated and a joy to stay in. Fabulous facilities with everything you could need. We would definitely return.

Beautiful place

The place was clean and spacious. I loved how everything was accessible, like the places to eat, the bus station, etc.. it had a beautiful verranda where I drank my morning coffee. We just stayed overnight but we dedinitely loved it.
