The location for all facilities were excellent. The property is over 200 years old so sloping floors and lots of character. Very comfortably furnished with everything you could possibly want. Beds super comfy. Sheila just next door if you had any issues, what a super interesting lady.
Nothing to do with the property. The Landsdowne pub is directly across road and allow people to stand in the street and drink, it didn’t bother us however there is chatting until late. When you know it’s happening you just roll with it, they didn’t spoil our enjoyment.

The location was was in the middle of town so close to everything including road and rail links. The hosts were generous and friendly easy to talk with.
Being in the middle of town has its ups and downs, depending on your preferences it has its moments when busy.

The cottage was much bigger than I expected. Very clean with everything you need and more! Sheila is a great host, very welcoming, even baking scones with clotted cream and jam for our arrival.
Unfortunately, there is noise from the pub opposite. Not a lot that Sheila can do about that. The road is narrow so the pub is fairly close to the cottage. It didn't bother us too much to be fair, but if you have younger children it maybe an issue.

Self catering facilities excellent. Central location easily accessible for trains and buses, beach and shops and hostelries. Loved the black swans and waterfowl park. Hostess, Sheila, was very friendly, interesting and helpful. Thank you Sheila..
