Villa Sunny

Villa Sunny was spacious, clean, bright and airy, and very well equipped. The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the description and photos online matched exactly what was provided. The air conditioning throughout the villa was excellent, the beds were comfortable, and the property was clearly well maintained. Linda was fantastic and responded incredibly quickly to any requests or questions we had, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool and pool area were good, with the pool cleaned every 5 days. The sun loungers were basic but adequate, comfortable and in good condition. The pool area is a little dated and there are some visible signs of wear and tear, but everything was safe, clean and functional, and this didn’t affect our enjoyment or use of the area. The addition of the BBQ was a really nice touch and made the outdoor space even more enjoyable. The area was lovely and quiet both during the day and at night, with beautiful views. It was also conveniently located, with a short walk down to the marina or an inexpensive taxi ride into the Old Town. Overall Villa Sunny was fantastic value for money and exactly as described. All eight of us stayed here for a family holiday, and we can honestly say it was the best stay we’ve ever had. We had an amazing time, the villa gave us everything we needed, and none of us wanted to leave! We would happily recommend Villa and would love to return. It was a truly unforgettable family holiday in a beautiful villa.

Our only suggestions for improvement would be to provide more than one hairdryer and to replace or sharpen some of the kitchen knives, as they were quite blunt. We would also recommend replacing the white fridge freezer, as it didn’t get particularly cold unless turned up to the maximum setting, at which point some areas would actually freeze items.

Location was perfect, 15-20 minute walk to the marina or 5 minutes in an uber which are very cheap. Area felt very safe and was very peaceful.

Pool area as a whole needs attention, there was algae in the pool when we got, in fairness after I contacted the owners the next day a guy came and cleaned it, should really have been done before we arrived however.

The views and number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped.

The property is very dated. One of the aircons wasn't working properly, which was obviously known as there was a fan in that room. There was also a significant sewerage smell downstairs. This was clearly also known as the window in the bathroom was already open when we checked in. Quite a bit of the furniture is broken. Beds are old. The pool area does not look the same as the photos, which is the case with majority of the property-photos don't match what you see in person. Overall, the home has the foundations to be lovely but is just very old and dated. We ended up finding a stunning property for cheaper.
