We really enjoyed our stay at Element Austin Round Rock!

I will never go back, we will not consider Element as a viable destination.

I did not have time to eat for breakfast in the morning - I had an early schedule

Front desk clerk - attitude, helpfulness was miles below sub-par. I had a minor emergency that took a bit extra time to reconcile, and asked for a bit of extra time to check out - and was refused. So I had to rush back to the hotel, ignoring the emergency, to check out on time. It only takes one bad front desk clerk to totally ruin an experience. I cannot remember any other time in my many years of travel of having faced this stark intractability. My company promotes travel to Texas communities... ExploreTexas.com... and in considering hospitality venues to add to Pflugerville, Element failed.

Pleasantly surprised

We never stayed at an Element before and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful and we appreciated how they catered to their guest. For example, we were told they have a large Korea clientele, so many of the signs were in Korean. I appreciated that, even though I am not Korean. The facilities were well designed, clean, and functional. We would definitely return.

I am a Bonvoy Marriott member and was not able to redeem points due to booking through Booking.com. That really was the only downside.

Cleanest hotel ever

The cleanliness, newness of the hotel, healthy breakfast options, & customer service from the staff.

My room was next to the room for washer/dryer use, so awakened by noise at 5:30am. Not sure if it was customers using the facility or hotel staff cleaning the room.

Nothing tried to pay cash and apparently that’s a problem so ended up having to stay somewhere else completely front desk guy wasn’t very professional tried to use my card which wouldn’t work because I only travel with cash don’t like when people try to act snobby needless to say will warn everyone about this property and won’t stay here at all in the future.

Decent location

The property was in a good location. There’s only one driveway entry area. If you’re not familiar with the area you could pass the location. There’s no entrance off the service road.

The ease of checkin was nice. And the room was large with a comfortable bed.

Over 40 vehicles were broken in to! The hotel didn’t seem to care much. NO CAMERAS as well. I will NEVER stay with this company ever again!!! The hallways smelled like chemicals.

The facility was VERY clean. Asia was EXTREMELY pleasant and willing to assist in any way she could to make our stay an enjoyable experience (it was my husband's birthday weekend). The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE and the shower was very roomy.

The bedroom in the one bedroom suite was small. It needed a little more space in it to make it easier to move around. The phone in our room didn't work (I told the front desk clerk); it was never fixed or changed out.
