Great Location. Great Hosts.

Absolutely loved this apartment! It was easy to find and is literally steps away from the shops and restaurants. You can hear some noise coming from the street at night and in the morning but we didn’t have any issues with it. Some reviews complain about the post it notes but we thought they were great as they answered several questions we had. Hosts were very friendly and check in was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute, well appointed, practical, affordable.

Although the view is of the back alley, the location is just steps away from a waterfront view. We had everything we needed aside from AC which we knew going in. Everything you need is just steps away.

I’m taller than most, and Italy is not made for such people, but I managed fine. As others report, noise at night/morning from late drinkers/early am trash removal is not conducive to keeping windows open for cool sleeping.

A beautiful apartment, well equipped, in a truly perfect location. Federica was very easy to communicate with, and accessing the property was no problem. Be aware there are stairs, like everywhere in Vernazza (and across Cinque Terre), but these stairs are very few and easy to utilise.

perfect location, welcoming host, enjoyable stay!

neat and tidy, nice and breezy with the windows open, Margherita does a great job of making guests feel welcome and takes care of them

although there was no sitting room proper the outside restaurants and other activities were more important than spending time inside. we just pulled up chairs in the kitchen to talk

Vernazza: the best town to stay in the Cinque Terre

Vernazza is definitely the best of the 5 towns to stay in the Cinque Terre as it has the nicest plaza / open spaces near the ocean, and the apt was super close to the train station, so that's a plus when carrying luggage. The apt was very comfortable with the 2 separate rooms.

The bathroom is dated, could use some upgrading and door could be replaced for a more functional one.

Cinqu Terre Fun

The location was on a side street in the middle of town. There are steps to climb to reach the Airbnb. In Cinque Terre you will be climbing stone steps everywhere in every town. Staying here you really got the feel of Cinque Terre-the towns and the people. Be sure to take a passeggiata and enjoy the happenings. Ristorante Luca was delicious and fabulous and right near the water. Check out the shops and food stores. Every morning we had a cappuccino and marmellata coronetta(horn).

There was no main like room for all guests to meet and hang out or talk. Because it was so hot, il would have helped keep it cool if the fans had been larger and stronger.

a bit noisy because of the location: very close to the main street and main shops, so there’s noise of loading in the very early morning and passengers passing at night; there’s no any cooking oil or seasoning at all. I had to buy even salt myself

It was the perfect stop after we got off the plane to slow our life down and relax.

As long as I communicated our delays in arrival (late flight:delayed luggage/late train) they were very flexible.

It would have been nice to have beach towels. It wasn’t a problem to buy some because the location was so great. The beach towel shop was 20 feet from the door.

Wonderful few days in a beautiful town with gorgeous views. Visiting in October made it much less crowded from what I’ve been told. We took the train between towns a few times. And took the ferry another time. Very small harbor area so it’s easy to get around and sit at different restaurants or simply sit along the beach or harbor walls. The host’s mother met us outside the street to the apartment exactly as planned. We were unfortunately a bit late after missing a train connection but she was quite understanding. The location was ideal for a visit because it was not very high up along the side road - some apartments in Vernazza require a very steep walk around winding paths just to get to the front door. This apartment is only a few doors up from the main street. However once inside the main door it’s important to know that there is an extremely steep staircase up to the apartment door. Makes it quite challenging with luggage or for anyone that has mobility issues. I believe many of the apartments in Vernazza have similar stairways considering the terrain of the area. It didn’t affect our enjoyment at all. In fact our walkway was actually the path for the hike between Vernazza and Monterosso. In terms of comfort the shower got hot and had great water pressure. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was quite nice. The only issue that may affect some people is that there was no common area besides the small kitchen with a small table to sit around. Worked out for us but it would have been nice to have an area with a small couch or chair as a common area or to use to relax when others are already in the bedrooms.

Jättefin och mysig lägenhet centralt med balkong mot Monterossoleden

Jättebra och centralt läge i Vernazza. Mysigt att bo i en riktig italiensk gränd där man kunde blicka på de som kom gående längs vandringsleden till eller från Monterosso. Fantastiska värdar! De svarar snabbt och är väldigt tillgängliga. Värdens mamma mötte upp och var jättegullig. Välstädat och fräscht. Det var gulliga små handskrivna lappar här och var om hur saker fungerade.

Hade gärna haft ac, men det visste vi ju om innan att det fanns fläkt. Så egentligen inget att klaga på.
