Warning - noise, smell, broken washing machine

Close to lots of places in Sirmione, good Air Conditioning.

Street outside extremely loud during the night. Sound of smashing glass around 5am was a guaranteed wake-up call each night. Washing machine broken. After 2 days going back and forth with staff, we were eventually allowed to use nearby alternative laundry service, which was not convenient. Would not recommend staying here if you are on a long trip, unless the washing machine can be fixed. Nowhere to hang towels. Keys get jammed in locks, and difficult to open and close apartment. Stairway smelt of leaked gas, and street had unpleasant smell outside entrance. Felt staff could have come to conclusion of alternative laundry much quicker than they did.

location is amazing,right in the town centre, fee meters to restaurants ,shuttle was arranged by the owner to and from the parking at chck in and check oout,the owner was super nice and responsive and helpful.The beautiful beaches sre close too,its amazing center location

it is very noisy,be prepared.The bins were emptied every single morning from in front of the house and if we wanted to sleep with the windows closwd we had to use the air-conditioning which was even noisier.We loved the place but didn't sleep well..maybe some earplugs would be handy

Lovely apartment in a great location

Clean and comfortable apartment, well located in the heart of Sirmione old town. The check in was very easy and stress free.

The curtains were very thin so in summer the sun wakes you up very early

Great couples stay in the centre of Sirmione

Perfect location. Easy check in and out using a lockbox. Nice apartment for a short stay. Nice and spacious. Good communication with the host

The aircon was really noisy but still lovely to have in the bedroom. A full length mirror would have been nice also. Otherwise it was great

Great spot in Sirmione

Apartment was bright and clean and the location was spot on. Host was friendly and helpful.

We didn't sleep too well because the street was a bit noisy, especially in the early morning (delivery or bin trucks I think) and because the sofa bed squeaks a lot (could do with oiling)

Great location, walking distance to lake, restaurants & shops. Apartment is nice & clean, and has everything you need for your a family stay. Nicola was great help - arranging our parking and transfer before our arrival.

Street noise on Sunday morning, probably from street cleaning, but totally quiet on Monday morning. Sirmione on a summer Sunday is a mad house - so if i could i would avoid summer weekends there. Of course that is not the fault of the property.

Fantastic stay!

We were very happy with this apartment! It was very clean and a perfect location. The host was very accommodating and communicative. He scheduled the parking service and transportation to/from the apartment. It is a perfect location walking distance to everything. We stayed with our son, who was very comfortable on the pull out sofa couch. Everything worked (Wi-Fi, air conditioning, stove, washing machine)! If you’re a very light sleeper there’s a trash truck that goes by at 6 in the morning, but otherwise noise wasn’t an issue at all. Can fit a family of four comfortably. Recommend!

Superb

The apartment corresponds to the pictures. As the apartment is in the historical city center which is on an island, the parking is outside, 10 min walk away, (12€ a day). The host arranges the parking and there is a very shuttle service which will bring you and your luggage to the apartment and also back on the day of your departure.

The Wifi signal was kind of weak (not a big deal though)

Great location, lovely host! Definitely recommend a stay!

The location of the property was perfect, right in the middle of Sirmione where all the restaurants and shops were. Also very close to the Therme spa that we booked to go. The apartment was well presented with basic facilities included. It was modern and clean. Our host was very friendly and helped us with any issues very quickly. We would definitely go back.

As it was December, we didn't think the apartment was fit for winter. There's AC in the apartment, but we had to ask for another electrical heater as it was cold in the apartment. But the host gave us one straight away. I think a carpet in the living room would definitely help keep warm during winter months as the floor was very cold. As it was self-catered, the closest markets were at least 3-4 km away. And finally, it would have been great if there was a microwave or a full-length mirror in the apartment. The only mirror was the one in the bathroom. But apart from that everything was great.

Great location to explore Sirmione

The apartments location is ideal, central and just down a quieter small road. It was modern, bright and clean, everything worked well and the beds were comfortable. Good to have WiFi and the host we met was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to do with the apartment, but worth knowing that if you are visiting without a car you are unlikely to be able to find anywhere to buy groceries in the area. So cooking for yourself, even a few times, could be impossible. We found water and soft drinks, and there are shops selling fancy pasta for tourists to take home but no supermarkets or fresh produce shops. Which means all meals are bought at cafes and restaurants and worth taking this into account. The catering facilities in the apartment were therefore not used. It would have been a nice touch to have some water or drink left in the fridge on arrival.

Det var ikke som forventet ud fra billederne, lejligheden var meget mørk. Det larmede ude foran hver eneste morgen allerede kl 5-6, grundet skraldebil og biler der skulle læsse varer af. Håndvasken på badeværelset sad løs.

Piccolo ma accogliente, c’è tutto l’occorrente ed è in pieno centro, a due passi da tutte le attrazioni, il letto matrimoniale è molto comodo. Personale gentile e disponibile. Prezzi concorrenziali.

La porta non si chiude benissimo, c’è un po’ di sporco alle finestre, luce un po’ troppo bassa e il divano letto rumoroso

Alloggio molto carino in centro storico

Alloggio ben tenuto, posizione meravigliosa nel centro storico di Sirmione. Host molto gentile e premuroso. Consigliato!!

L’unico problema è che essendo al primo piano con i vetri sottili, alle 6.00 siamo stati svegliati dagli addetti alla ritiro dei rifiuti che hanno scaricato i vetri sotto la nostra finestra ed alle 7.00 e’ stata la volta del lavaggio strade..
