The rooms are clean. The location is good

The restaurant service. The waiters were always mad. The food was terrible. I stayed in this hotel 3 years ago.. and that’s why I booked again and the service this time was so bad at the restaurant. The waiter justified saying that there was no chef.. the poor options for selecting from the menu (when the breakfast is included is sad). The fruit was not fresh. The ingredients for the food are not adequate. The second day of the “terrible breakfast” the male waiter said that the owner was on vacation and took the chef. Believe me.. it is better not to offer breakfast included as the customer will feel disappointed

Clean Cozy

Don’t know is the pool have some algae. Its seem to be clean, but when you enter the walls and floor felt some slippery.

Great location, very near to the lagoon and good restaurants. The breakfast was nice - you could choose between eggs (any way) or pancakes, plus a fruit plate and tea/coffee! We also had a huge balcony with a hammock which was great. You can also take out kayaks for two hours which was included in our booking - great perk! Thanks for a great stay in Bacalar.
