London Budget Maisonette

A very nice London flat in a great location with fantastic public transport links. Nothing fancy, just what I needed, a cosy room for the night.

The bedroom has a window above the door and unfortunately it becomes difficult to sleep at night when anyone leaves the landing light on. A simple curtain or covering over this would solve it.

I was sent details of check in process the night before arrival along with photos and videos to help. Staff asked if everything was okay during my stay. I stayed for 3 nights on my own and was able to find local amenities and bus route close by. I felt safe even arriving late back each night after watching a show. The community where I stayed where extremely friendly and polite. I have stayed in London on several occasions in high priced hotels but I did prefer to stay here as the owners are trying their best to provide a place to stay at a low cost price.

They wasn't anything I didnt like as you could see the owners are trying their best to provide everything needed.

The property is near where we are plan to go

There was no lift and have to carry luggages all the way thru the stairs.

The room was comfortable and room was a good temperature. Location had easy access to underground and overground trains. Host answered queries quickly. Very fair price makes visiting London affordable. Shared kitchen area clean & well stocked for a simple breakfast. Free WiFi was very helpful.

The main area that needs some work is the shared bathroom, mainly the shower/bath area with black mold evident, so needs more regular cleaning.
