QUILLET COTTAGE, 2 GLENTOWAN ROAD

Great cottage, perfect location. So peaceful! Very comfortable and well equipped. The bed was SO comfortable.

Quillet Cottage is in a great location with free parking which is always a bonus. The cottage is interesting in that the upstairs is light, airy and nicely furnished while the downstairs needs some updating. The sofa could do with replacing, it would really brighten the place up. We enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed, close to the beach and with a great pub just around the corner( The Ship)Communication with the host was very good.Really well situated for visiting Eden Project and Lost Gardens, Charlestown was lovely as was. Mevagissey. Comfy bed, quiet road.

There was out of date food in the kitchen cupboard along with eggs that were 3 weeks over- was too scared to move them. The television was so dirty, I think it had been cleaned with porridge, left it cleaner than when we arrived.

House very well equipped and in a wonderful location. Very quiet. Good level of cleanliness. All equipment in good working order. Parking not at property but very close by.

The kitchen and lounge were lovely, decoration was lovely, Downstairs clean, parking slot was great, area lovely and peaceful, the shower was big

The shower had mould, I did slip a few times, toilet seat was loose. banisters wobbly especially the upstairs and exceedingly low and dangerous, upstairs floors were completely uneven, my Dad and I tripped many times, we both have joint problems and I suffer with vertigo, When my boyfriend and I woke up we had headaches as the bed was on a slant. The doors didn't shut properly, and the handles very lose, that my partner pinched himself, up stairs had not been cleaned properly, The utility room outside was filthy, no instructions for the tumble dryer in the utility room. I didn't like the fact that in any reports or reviews, or description of the property that there was no mention of the fact upstairs was uneven, No warning up for the step in the kitchen, it blended into the flooring of the lounge If it said in the description that the above was stated, we would have looked for something else, I would also say that it doesn't meet heath and safety standards, I think we should be reimbursed as this was a terrible case of living standards. Someone needs to go in and check it, without them knowing !!!
