Though the Air Conditioning was great, it would have been better in the back master bedroom that did not have enough air flow and felt a bit damp. Shopping was not very close by though we stocked up on the way in. An issue if you do not have a car.Also hot water was an issue to be supplied at enough heating volume.

Spacious rooms and great facilities. It is also in a quiet area where you can enjoy the view on Pico mountain, if no clouds block the view. Our apartment had a small driveway where you can park a scooter or a small car, which is nice 🙂

It's not too close to the Airport or Madalena port, but if you rent a car/scooter there's no issue.

very clean, with easy-to-find street parking. great location for excursions (but not suitable for walking into town).

Host communication left a lot to be desired. We were not met in person, nor were we told that our apartment was Unit 2, so we spent 10 minutes trying to locate our lodging and ended up walking into the someone else’s apartment (embarrassing and probably stressful to the other family). There was nothing in our unit to identify it as ours. The property photos on Booking.com looked different. Apartment had zero orientation material and we got no response when we sent a message asking how we should dispose of full trash bags. We expected a bit more support.
