New Stable Cottage

The location on a working farm, with the sea on the horizon, was very quiet and relaxing. The deep silence and dark at night were very refreshing. It was remote without being too far from amenities. The cottage is very well set up for a person with mobility issues (my mother is 92). The host was friendly and informative, without being intrusive, and sensitive to my mother's cognitive confusion. The map he sent was useful as the navigator got a little confused about the final turn down the farm road.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with two good sized bedrooms. The location was great, down a farm track, so very quiet. There is a beach within a five minute walk, although the tide was out every time we visited. It doesn't look like a swimming/sunbathing beach, but it is lovely to be so close to the water. The hosts were very attentive but not intrusive and Nigel checked several times that we were ok. A great property, and we would definitely stay again if we visit the Isle of Wight in the future.

The sofa and chairs in the lounge could be more comfortable, but that is more personal choice than anything actually wrong with them.

Quiet location with amazing views. Really good facilities for people with mobility issues and owner friendly and helpful without being over bearing!

Everything, there was nothing I can fault . Beautiful location on a working farm . Sea views and lovely walk down to sea … Accommodation very room and comfortable… Everything you need … We went by bus from London, then taxi to accommodation, a car would have been easier but the taxi service by Abraham was very reliable , friendly and value for money .. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts , they were always on hand if needed … Our accommodation had a connecting door to very spacious property next door
