It was opposite a great fish and chip shop

Extremely basic and a little shabby. It was very clean but the beds and pillows were awful so much so we got up early on the day of departure and had left the property by 7am.

Lovely vibe, spacious, had everything we needed

Well equipped house. Loved Having a ground floor bedroom and toilet for 93 year old Dad who can't manage stairs, Location for the family get together was great as not far from brothers house. Nice big garden. Parking for two cars.

Not being able to close curtains in lounge, Being on main road feel you should be able to close the curtains. We sat playing cards but felt people going past could look in at us.

Everything thing in house was excellent, home from home 😊 😊😊😊😊 The communication with Jade was the best from time of booking to we left 😊10 out 10

Good location. Very clean house and newly decorated. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. Wi-Fi worked well. Large TV. Opposite a fish and chip shop! Only one bathroom but extra loo downstairs was handy.

There were no dining chairs!! The property is for 8 but there was only a bench at the dining table which fitted 3 adults max. The photos of the property show dining chairs. We cooked at the property in the evening but had to do multiple sittings as there was absolutely no way for more than 3 to eat at once. Very disappointing. The garden is also huge but basically overgrown and with no furniture. A single garden chair was all there was despite the advert saying there was garden furniture. The weather was lovely but there was just no way to enjoy the outside space as you couldn’t even sit down! I messaged the management team immediately to ask where the dining chairs and garden furniture were and got no reply for the whole stay. I have to say it did ruin the stay for us as we were hoping to spend some quality time together as a group. Toilet roll is also not provided, just one roll per loo and then you are expected to buy it.

The property wad easy to find, and keys were not a problem! The kitchen was well equipped with essential items like plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc and everything worked! The kettle was clean (unlike the ones you get at hotels) and the host was very kind to offer detergent and washing liquid as well, and even cooking oil. The reception room was comfortable and had a TV with netflix and other on demand shows. The bedding configurations worked well for us and the beds were clean and comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and hot water.

The ceiling light in the downstairs bedroom didn't have a bulb and didnt work even when we put in the light bulb. Some of the lamps in the bedrooms didn't have light bulbs either, and the dining room ceiling light was too dim. Luckily its Spring so there was plenty of natural light for us.

Conveniently laid out and really nicely updated. Easy access with a downstairs loo and a twin bedroom on ground floor. Really long garden great for children and animals. Great shower over bath with hand held spray attachment. Well kitted out for 8 to stay. Seating for 8 in dining room and lounge. Situated on a main road but driveway has space for two cars within half a mile of a local pub with a great children’s play area & local large Tesco. There’s a village a short 2 min drive away with an Indian takeaway plus a shop for essentials and fish & chips opposite the property. It’s really reasonably priced for the space.

Mattress in master bedroom too hard and those in the twin downstairs bedroom were too soft but some might find them ok. Plus you do need to take everything with you as no extras. I would take towels too if you prefer large ones.
