Peaceful countryside stay with amazing food and views

Peaceful countryside stay with amazing food and views I had a truly lovely stay at Alloggio del Contadino. The location is stunning — quiet and surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view of the mountains and a peaceful river just a short walk away. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the serenity of the countryside. The hosts, a local farmer family, were incredibly kind and hospitable. What stood out the most was the fantastic food — homemade and prepared with fresh produce from their own farm. Every meal felt authentic and full of flavor. Even though I was traveling alone, I felt completely at home. The warm atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and delicious meals made this one of the most memorable parts of my trip. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic rural Italian experience.

The bed was wonderful and it we slept really well. Good location and the room was a very good size. The breakfast was very good and Cinzia and her mother-in-law really looked after us, they even wanted to prepare sandwiches for us for the road which we kindly refused as we already had food.

The host and her mother in law were just absolutely fabulous so welcoming, friendly and helpful, they were great with our kids showed them all the animals and recommended a super local restaurant. The accomodation was warm, spotlessly clean and plenty of room. A superb breakfast was served the next morning. I would highly recommend this accomodation and host.

A perfect place to stay and great value for money.

Superb home made breakfast directly from the farm. Exceptional reception and warm family who catered to all our requirements. This agritourism inn is exceptional value for money and within a couple of minutes driving distance from Sondrio.

I would have loved if they could have served lunch or dinner. Unfortunately that was not possible due to covid situation.

Stupendo e Accogliente! Come essere in famiglia!

Tutto perfetto! La posizione è strategica e in circa 50 minuti si raggiungono sia le zone di montagna che zone come Bormio e tirano (30 minuti). La struttura è accogliente e pulita e la colazione è eccezionale con prodotti locali! In più Cinzia e sua suocera ti fanno sentire come se fossi a casa e sono delle host stupende! Assolutamente da provare!

Colazione ricca e genuina anche di prodotti a km 0. Camera rivestita e strutturata in legno, calda, con temperatura regolabile e servita da un bagno ampio e ben assortito. Atmosfera famigliare e a pochi km dalle attrazioni locali.

L’alloggio ci è piaciuto moltissimo. Pulizia impeccabile, ottima accoglienza e grande ospitalità da parte di Cinzia. La colazione è molto buona e genuina, tutto a km 0: latte appena munto al mattino e torte fatte in casa. Era tutto buonissimo. Grazie ancora, torneremo sicuramente.

Letto comodissimo e temperatura perfetta!In camera c'era pure l'acqua e dei dolcetti...una gentilezza ormai quasi estinta e davvero molto importante e apprezzata!Sono stata accolta in modo caloroso, con tantissima gentilezza e disponibilità.
