The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped.

The area was a little rundown. Both clothes airers were broken.

Brilliant house, close to the amenities - clean and well equipped

We had a brilliant stay at the Farriers Cottage. Very clear and precise Instructions were received early on the day with exact location, and key details. The place was clean and tidy and the kitchen was very well equipped. Karen was very easy to contact, and replied straight away. The location is excellent, very close to beach and shops, but no noise. The parking also wasn't an issue, as Karen provided us with permits and there was enough on-street parking around. Would definitely stay again.

The location

Beds very uncomfortable noisy not enough room in second bedroom for double bed. Not able to shower only over bath shower. No hooks for towels . No toilet roll holders. ? Within building regs for smoke alarm. Could not put heating on or open windows. Outside not very tidy overgrown with weeds and not very safe on the cobbles

We had a lovely, peaceful comfortable place to stay and close to shops etc .

It was an ideal/ quiet place for a family stay really clean.

The towel rail in the bathroom isn’t in the ideal place for a tall person and the upstairs floor boards were very squeaky.

Nice place but photos deceiving!

The cottage space was fantastic considering it was a 3 bedroom and super size house bathroom. The kitchen and lounge area was a great size, including a dining table. Great for us all as a family to cook, eat, and socialise together. Bedding all spotlessly clean and spacious considering the sixe of the cottage.

The location. Crammed in the middle of some 'choice looking' terrace houses, upon arrival you get an awful feeling with the area and the look of surroundings. Having to walk down a very scruffy, weedy and at night, extremely dark ginnel you come across the 4 cottages in a small compound area. Very disappointed to see a very tired and unkept set of gardens. (Original photos taken 5+ years ago when 1st renovated i think) photos of the place needs updating as its deceiving, dont expect what you see from the outside. Inside is better and in better condition but not 100% as it should be. Also no WiFi as advertised and for where you are in middle of all the houses you'll be lucky if your mobile wifi works!!

Disappointed family trop.

Nothing the property was nothing like photos and description I read .

Everything from the minute I arrived, in a very run-down area ,struggled to park . I'm so glad we were only there for 3 nights. We couldn't have done a week. Was staying with my daughter and 3 grandchildren, thinking one bedroom had two singles and a double bed. No I very low double and one single with a pull out bed , and one bedroom with double only is assessable from one side again very low !. The cottage needed a good clean, not just a quick surface flick. I was very disappointed the fridge had no freezer compartment and a quick first shop before looking, unfortunately, so food wasted. The floor boards andbeds were really noisy and creaked horrendous 😕. Also, the extractor fan kept us awake. I am very disappointed and will never return. It definitely not value for money.

The location was perfect, the cottage had everything we could possibly need. This was the first time we've stayed here but it definitely won't be the last, have already recommended it to family and friends.

Stairs were quite steep could have done with a safety gate at top of stairs. We had an elderly person with us with memory problems! Outside light also needed fixing and more comfortable garden furniture would have been nice. Everything else was fine

Compact little cottage close to the beach

Property was in a very good location, clean and tidy. It was close to the beach and harbour. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes and takeaways close to the holiday cottage, so we were spoilt for choice most evenings. All were very reasonably priced. There are also plenty of amusements, shops, ice cream parlours, souvenir shops and candy bars within a 10 minute walk from the property. Both beaches are easily accessible and there are a number of tourist boat rides available in the harbour. There are really good transport links to Scarborough, Filey, Flamborough and Whitby. Half hourly bus services connect to many of the local tourist attractions and towns nearby. The railway station is also within walking distance of the property.

The mattress was quite uncomfortable and seemed to sag in the middle and could possibly do with being replaced. The WiFi signal was also quite weak and a touch difficult to connect to, neither of our mobile phones would connect, however the laptop did acquire the signal.

Good location, very easy reach of Tesco,Aldi and B&M stores,short walk to harbour, beach and town. Property was spacious, clean and had every thing we needed! Communication very good and questions and queries answered quickly ✔️

Mattress from hell

The location is great, for the beach and centre of Bridlington. Great fish and chip shop on the corner . The facilities within the cottage were good for a few days away. No tea/ coffee provided, though. Nice enclosed garden area. Can't remember if there were seats outside or not. .

We booked this at short notice, so I didn't read any previous reviews. Having read the reviews later, most complaints were about the mattress (some going back to 2021), saying it was very poor and extremely uncomfortable. (understatement) THE OWNERS NEED TO SPEND SOME MONEY AND REPLACE THE MATTRESS. It's not ok to keep taking the money from people who book this place and not update and replace things that are way beyond their skip date. The lounge needed a bit of TLC. But the bedroom was a good size.

Basic house in great location

House basic Assumption by owner we would know about parking rules without explanation as we do not have same at home and how to turn heating on as no instruction pack Curtains not lined so alot of light in morning Both toilets make a loud noise when flushed Think house is overpriced you are paying for location

Impersonal, uncomfortable stay

The best part of this accommodation is the location, you are seconds away from the front. The host was also quick to sort electrical issues that we encountered on entering the property.

The beds were extremely uncomfy, we all slept terribly for our entire stay. The pillows, duvets and bedding were also extremely poor quality and uncomfortable. The floorboards in the bedrooms creak and if you move in one bedroom it creaks in the bedroom next to you. You can not move without waking everyone up in the house. Everything is tired, cheap and run down. My elderly mother tripped on the broken flooring in the kitchen area more than once (that is seriously a hazard). The facilities in general are also not great, no smart TV or DVD player, Netflix.

A delightful property

It had everything you could need. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. Two mins walk to the beach.
